in korean but still funny i think. they weren't told who the players are and they guess the protoss is some random chobo. at the end they are told the game was between nal_ra and go.go. ^^

I don't really get it... why'd they think it was a chobo? That recall was fail but otherwise it looks like he owned go.go (who, let's recall, beat Bisu 2-1 ). I would think that if you can beat go.go your chances of qualifying are higher than 4%.

His TvP is only decent against Bisu lol
A translation would be very appreciated

I heard "robotics" early, I think Stork and Jangbi didn't like his build order, his goon concave with no zealots in the beginning was pretty fail and the Androide nexus was made fun of by the CJ players (except for sAviOr who literally fell asleep on Orion(or was it Devil?)'s shoulder)
flash said: probably a practice partner stork: lowest ranked progamer in a team jangbi: best amateur player? (says protoss is definitely not a progamer) iris (when asked if the protoss can ever qualify for an OSL): definitely not yellow: despite being at an advantage, the toss couldn't analyze the situation well, which led to the failed recall and such. he plays only what he should do (and not think ahead)... like a computer.
reach gave 40% chance of nal_ra qualifying for an OSL jangbi said 5-10% stork said 0% (ROFL) violet: at least semifinals of qualifiers (basically still won't qualify) flash with serious face: i believe he will qualify. *adds on later* "i love nal_ra!" yellow: nal_ra performs better in qualifiers and such, so he should use that to his advantage and be more decisive. that may increase his chances. probably to 8%.

it was because going 2 gate is considered an 'old-school build' (used often in 2007), because protosses nowadays tend to go 1 gate robo to get reavers/observers and prevent timing pushes from working.
hope that's all the translation that's needed, the rest is basically nal_ra saying stuff like "omg" "i'm turning red" "this is embarrassing" and the progamers watching the replay going "no way is this a progamer replay" "lol" and even flash going "turn off the replay".
What is the entire show about though? Since this was only part of the show, I am assuming that the focus of the show is different than show noob-pro-replays-for-fun
Edit: Wait, just switched my tap to Google results. So this is a basically same as Hyung-jun, except it is Kang-min rofl.
I think he still did pretty good in the match considering he won.. against a pretty powerful opponent who's still performing well (go.go) who, like someone said, recently beat Bisu 2-1 in the OSL/MSL...
i think its kinda =[ that they think so poorly of his recent skills and judge so harshly, like saying "omg, this guy is mediocre ametuer at best" or "he can never qualify for OSL"... I mean, I would also think that having those same skills at high level BW would still be present, 'cause its pretty much like riding a bike.. I don't think u really forget the skills or techniques you use, just need to "warm back up" to the mechanics, apm/multitasking etc..
I think Nal_rA stands just as good of chance to qualify/win a OSL/MSL as any other Protoss, just depends on their level of commitment to that goal..
If the fansub team does not pick this up, and Rek wins the tournament thing. We should hire some professionals to translate with the money he donates...

I think everyone means the show itself, not the clip... at least in my case it is. If nobody else picks up this show I might be interested in translating it if I have raw provided to me to work with, but even I doubt it (about 1%).
i would translate this because its so funny but i dont know how to put subs on the vod the best part was when ra did the failed recall and stork was like "BERMUDA RECALL"
I laughed when after he did the fail recall flash just says turn off the replay.
Also dont remember who said it but someone also said a protoss imba joke. He said the protoss didnt even position his units and he still won the fight.

"Bermuda recall"? Haha.
Oh yeah. Seems like forever since I heard "Bermuda triangle" one- it seemingly died out like 10 yrs ago with all the globalization and such?
Hi guys. A quick status update from the Chamber of Secrets:
"Let's wait till the next episode and see how it goes. Nothing really interesting happened but I do see some good potential for this show" is our general consensus right now.
omg this sounds insanely fun =D gonna watch it as soon as I finish this philosophy paper... SIGH.
Can someone explain what exactly this "Oldboy" program is about??? Is it really about rA trying to get back as a progamer? If so, it sounds as interesting (if not more) than the Hyungjoon one, and I loved that one haha
go.go has always been known for being pretty bad at TvP. And it's just one game. It doesn't prove anything. They were critizing go.go when they were watching the game as well, and it doesn't matter who the players were. Both players played bad, and these top level players know much more about the skill levels in the qualifiers than any of us and rA.
haha the end is pretty funny, where nal_ra tries to find practice partners in ACE. kong keep saying stuff like 'you suck' and 'i'm different than before, i'm super gosu' and stuff hahaha
On March 22 2010 05:18 dukethegold wrote: Lol at all the bashing.
Isn't that even worse from go.go's perspective since he lost to what Jangbi calls "an amateur" and what Yellow calls "a computer"?
......
And wouldn't that Bisu feel even worse for losing to a progamer who lost to a toss whom Stork says got 0% chance to qualify the OSL?
lol nice.
I once played a PvT on python where I tried to recall into the main, but ended up missing cuz of a goli and ended up recall-dying into the island expo. 13 goons were trapped.
I don't know how to sub it into the video, so lemme just sub it here. Nothing too formal, just something the subbing team can use if they choose to.

You know, I think it would be hilarious if TL did something like this, and showed a recent replay involving players like ret, Nony, or White-Ra and then see what ICCUP rank people think they are.
