all of the unit sounds are excellent imo. valkyries are just hilarious, and science vessels, yes. "who let all these lab monkeys out?" mutas are bad assed as well, they just scream constantly. all of the hissing and weird bubbling sounds of the zerg are very well made and just fit the units perfectly. the fact that the overmind speaks english is a bit strange i guess, but "spawn more overlords", "not enough minerals", "the hive cluster is under attack" and all of that still feels very zergy, even though it probably should just have made a noise like slimy goo. it's pretty amazing how so many of the sounds have become so classic. just think of the archons "power overwhelming!". simply epic. | ||
