Most of the comments about me were fair. I'm not top 48 by merit alone and I know it. I'm not cheating but I am dodging, as are about 80 of the top 100. The bulldogging thing has gotten old but when I release my TSL reps and they show I haven't bulldogged anyone in my last 300 games that should hopefully stop.
The trash talking is what we've come to expect so whatever, it's why we watch them I guess.

Don´t worry, White-ra reaver-bulldogged Boxer in Korea on the main stage in TV... G5 also bulldogged Him, double expanded and killed him without making a single zealot, just pure goons. Call that cheese if u want, but it still works vs top players, so it is a perfectly valid strategy and is so hard to defend it for fast expanding terrans. I don´t know why everyone talks shit about every not-economy-oriented build, maybe because koreans don´t do them that much?
Also, it's perfectly fine to abuse the game as much as possible if you are not doing anything against the rules, that´s what multiplayer games are all about, some people have amazing mechanics and abuse that by picking terran and playing very defensive heavy macro games with high apm demanding strategys.. other people just bulldog, lurker drop, stack 11 mutas or abuse the map by mining a back mineral patch, etc... Its ok if u hate loosing to that, but if i could bulldog and DT drop my way to the tsl qualifiers i wouldn´t hesitate to do it.

People cheese, and it's a winning strategy. Sure, saying it's annoying is fine, but whining about it doesn't change a thing, this tournament is about winning. If you know a player can only beat you using one strategy, then prepare for it. You don't just use a specific build because it is good, but because you know it can beat your opponent.

the problem with continental chinese ping / lag doesnt really origin in the distance issues (like it would be with taiwanese/korean users), its the Great Chinese Firewall Internet filtering / overwatch which makes playing SCBW on internet so unpredictable, thus hard.
so the answer to your question should be: no there shouldnt be any big differences between korean / taiwanese internet connection

I found the interview pretty funny. For some reason, I was laughing when Idra said dimaga was legitimately good. It's somehow funny when Idra compliments someone

Is that really an arguement as to why he's part of the 'foreign' community? They played (lagged) up a few clanwars with Fnatic for a couple of months BECAUSE fnatic paid them a big fat salary that ended up being fnatic sc's downfall.
For me the only reason that having anyone besides people that are from the 'foreign community' that most us know and love ( ok, maybe not love) is that the TSL is sponsored by a big company now that wants to see a return on their investment. I had not taken PGL into consideration, because I wasn't playing when it happend and never really gotten any word of it. But that does change things in favor of having Chinese players. slightly.
I have nothing against Chinese players, I know they are good people. But that's just my opinion.
There are numerous foreign players that do exactly what you just listed. They play purely for money. Does JF enter any tournament without a prize? Does Draco? Are they part of TL or post on the forums? Do they stream constantly and interact with the community? You can't restrict it to just Chinese players and try to paint the rest of the non-Chinese foreigner community as saints.

Draco and JF have been in foreign tournaments and clanwars every weekend ( Draco not so much since he retired ) for years and years.

I agree that they at times came off as cocky and said some trashy things. But it wasn't so bad. Fun to get opinions of course.
Goes to show why I miss nony over there though. A smart guy, and held himself well, told it like it was, but without any nonsense. But perhaps that's also why he knew well enough not to waste his time over there.
