I know this thread doesn't have much content but the picture says it all really.
The bottom picture is Sydney normally the top picture was Sydney today.
I woke up at somewhere between 4 and 5am with red light streaming into my room, turns out there was a gigantic dust storm that settled on Sydney overnight, which is annoying because I only just washed my car windows yesterday..
EDIT: Maybe this is common in other parts of the world /shrug apparently only happened once before here in Sydney. It also hit up and down the coast as well I have heard.
Like silent hill and of all sorts! Is this the first time it ever happened in Sydney?
best thing about the pictures.. NO PEOPLE in it!
Was the dust sticky that's why no one was getting out of their house? I mean, it seems you are the only one brave enough to take on the apocalypse head on!

I heard in passing that it has happened once before, but nowhere near this magnitude. The only thing that has ever come close in my memory is extreme bushfires having an 'orangey' (nothing like this!) sunset due to heaps of smoke.
Yeah I was at a mate's place (brisbane) and it just started getting really yellow and then everything was orange at midday. The worst part was that no matter what, everything got layers of dust on it.

Yeah, I recall a bushfire-related one happened within the last 2 years.
Most trippy feeling ever today, groggy and trying to find the bathroom with the ambient orange light from the windows
