Unfortunately due to time constraints and windows movie maker being the shit program it is this may be as much of a highlight video I can produce from their most recent cast. If time allows I'll tough it out and do the whole cast. Would you believe it took 4 hours to make a 5 minute clip just from one game of gem league? Thats Kiante and Sirjolt for you!

I've had luck with avidemux before, but I've only done extremely simple video editing (cutting commercials out of some recorded TV shows). If all you're trying to do is cut clips out of a long video then it should work great.

Note that I used this a few years ago, so I can't vouch for the newest versions. I doubt it's changed much, I think it's designed to be very minimal.

I am working on a project, current problems i have encountered:

- I download videos from Twitch and they won' t pay sound. Also in my local recording folder of Twitch my casts have no sound. Anyone know why?
-What is the fastest way to join two videos with the same bitrate, framerate etc. ? (i' m trying to join for example part 1 2 3 of a youtube video)

Another Optional Problem i have (not quintessntial or however you write this word):

Do you guys know of any way to Stabilize audio from different videos while keeping them separate?

sound: I know Gecko has experienced the same problem and downloading through this http://bashtech.net/twitch/download.php?stream=insertstreamname helped him. I've been also using this page for a long time without any issues, although now you need to have access to the stream.
An alternative way: + Show Spoiler +

Get the clip ID (twitch.tv/username/b/CLIPIDHERE) and go to the api page in this format:

http://api.justin.tv/api/clip/show/CLIPIDHERE.xml

For example: http://api.justin.tv/api/clip/show/308508127.xml

And download the file linked inside <video_file_url> </video_file_url>

Note that highlight's IDs (/c/ID) are not the id you need, you have to get the actual broadcast ID via your videos list, right click -> copy link location on the link to the highlight, it'l give you the broadcast id. The "your highlight is now ready" email will also give you this id.

joining: I can tell you A way but certainly not the fastest one, sorry.

What do you mean by stabilizing audio? What program are you using? Although I won't likely be able to help with that, anyone that can would probably need to know.

I don' t really mind if it takes long as long as it works in the end and no to few quaity is lost. I have Ubuntu installed too, if you use that and/or could suggest something.

By stabilizing i mean this: i have different clips and videos, and playing them one after another the sound level for each vifeo is different, some it may be very high and some very low. since these videos would be running one after the other in a random generated fashion, it would be perfect to have some kind of audio balance. Just saying in case any of you knew of something.

The project i' m working on is called Project Delta and its aim is to englobe all sort of D ranks action/casts+ some other content into a continuos random generated stream, similar as the Official TL stream was.

I never watch the flvs and just convert them to a different format using a converter, but I often also just upload them to youtube and download through a downloader with a minor loss in quality. Idk about the audio issues. I know youtube has a built-in editor that you can use but I've never worked with it myself, I'd just use Sony Vegas to lower the sound level of that clip. There will certainly be an easy way to fix this in a different program, but I've no idea which one.
