Practice your macro, multitasking, etc. Try and keep your supply always ready, your worker count optimal, all your gates building, always expanding more, adding more facs, etc. It's actually quite difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes more natural in an actual game. Would you recommend practicing against the normal AI, or in an empty game? A lot of common build orders die hard to some of the messed up stuff the normal AI opens with. I downloaded reppacks of white ra, draco and JF from TSL, do you think these are good reps to learn from?

Overview of my post Play standard build orders when you can. Some don't allow you to so use those to practice midgame management. Use different ai for different matchups. Focus on keeping apm up and macro going. I played these to improved my basic speed and mechanics. Learn micro from micro maps.
