Art.FeeL: The Resolution (Inspired by kona)

Art.FeeL 1163 Posts June 19 2009 19:26 GMT #1 Ok so here is my resolution as I turn 18 (turned yesterday). I really hope I can stick with it (first part is focused on this summer) RESOLUTION: 1) Get more weight! 2) Get better body (muscles, wide shoulders, ...)! 3) Start writing a diary! 4) Read a LOT of books (not stories and novels but science ones)! 5) Start putting some money apart! 6) Improve my relationship with family members! 7) Boost self-confidence and become more open (after all im Gemini)! 8) Stop waisting time on rereading the same TL stuff and border it to 1h daily (1h for TL and all others hobby reading)! Thats it! Wish me good luck!

Chef 10810 Posts June 19 2009 19:46 GMT #2 Ahhh man. You can't make resolutions like this. It's too much, and too far into the future. Try making resolutions you can do right now, that will work toward these goals. Otherwise you're just going to find yourself a year from now no closer to any of these things than before. I wish you good luck, but I also hope you incorporate good planning into your goals.

Chef 10810 Posts June 19 2009 19:52 GMT #4 I'm just telling you from experience, if you want to achieve your goals, you need to actively plan how you're going to get to them, step by step. Right now you have a list of wants and no clear way to get any of them. It's really easy to say all these nice things you want in the future, and that you're going to be so pro-active and awesome, but if you can't figure out what you're gonna do day by day, you'll find yourself overwhelmed. I'm not trying to be discouraging, or that these goals are impossible. I'm just saying outline what you're gonna do each day to get there, and start today.
