So you change your name and your views and designate your new name as "Judas" ... obvious troll is obvious. Now go hang yourself (again).

dude, everyone knew your aliases, lol. it's pretty goddamn obvious when you're the only religious-zealot kinda person who consistently picks 'New Zealand' as a location and you like to make threads.

You were never christian.
You don't just troll forums and call yourself a christian to be a christian. That is especially true when you go from being so zealous about it to "I'm no longer christian." Common man? I am not going to sit here and claim to know your daily life.. and perhaps my claim to begin with is a bit bold but dude you have to realize... even if you're bat shit insane how terrible you are portrayed on the internet?

So are trying to say there won't be a no masturbation marathon this time around?
|
So from now on you are going to troll about animal rights?

I’m an inquisitive person. I wonder about many random things and often the topic of religion is one. So I’d come up with a question (where did God come from, for example) and ask the Church. I’d have many questions. I used to be content with the answers, but then I realised that the answers didn’t make sense.
Take the “where did God come from” question. A person told me: “well, think about it like this, this life is writing in a book, and God is the book”, and when he told me I was happy, my question was answered. Now I realise that was a terrible answer. That means nothing. He didn’t know the answer anymore than I did. The difference being, is that some are content with analogical answers like that, I’m not.
I started questioning the canon, the historicity of the Bible. Slowly I realised what I believed about the Bible through the Church, was not that simple, that there was a lot of holes in the history, that this was very unsure, and coupled with my understandings of different religions and how the human mind works, I slowly realised that I had been “sucked in”, that everything I believed had been based upon traditions passed down with no real evidence, and the only reason to believe was my own personal feelings; and having seen the crazy things other people believe and feel, I realised that my own feelings weren’t completely trustworthy, especially when dealing with something that can’t be tested.
Lots of other reasons too... You can read about them at my blog (my here) if you like and even look back on some of my posts in 2006 when I still was a Christian and how I thought back then.
