You're right, I misremembered what you said, however the point I made still stands in my mind: the situation you outlined is not that different. It's just macroing. The part of low money that differs from FPM is the whole process of getting to that 3-4 base point. Timing attacks, strategic decisions, economic decisions, precise BOs, experience, scouting, etc etc.

but the bottom part is more what i was getting at i miss worded myself and got all fucked up i was basically trying to say that most of the friends i have who play fastest and then attempt to go to normal maps have trouble with keeping up with the "Timing attacks, strategic decisions, economic decisions, precise BOs, experience, scouting, etc etc" in a normal game and theirs to much going on for them to really keep up, i think i just used resources as a way to say they would be falling behind... my poor grammar and word choices just fails

I would try that but i don't think that they would play me. Perhaps if i could just get one of them to play me 1v1 fastest. There is one kid who still talks to me, perhaps i could get lucky and get him to play me.

I have the same problem but i didnt get into it with the people. So me and my roomate play on the dorms LAN when we 1v1 because its best. One day we make a game and some dumbass named "Lord Evan" joins... Basically we are like holy shit someone else plays sc besides us?, hell yea! little did we know thye were the worst players ever. So we never played with them again despite them living in our dorm lol. Fuckin nubs.

There is no reason to argue with them. If you like them or enjoy playing with them go ahead. Maintain that they are retards for liking fastest, but don't make a big deal out of it. It's not that big of a fucking deal.

sure they are wrong about low money taking less skill than fastest, but other than that it seems like you just suck at fastest. both types of games require a certain skillset. while normal maps have a higher skill ceiling and more skill differentiation, money maps still require knowledge of strategy and macro execution to win.
look at it from their perspective, if someone played you on low and lost and then complained about imbalance and how low money was newbie, you would react the exact same way as they did. you can't possibly expect them to just accept your post-loss whining. beat them at fastest then talk. if you're so much better than they are at BW it should be easy right?
