A C+ rank or above could beat any true D+ player almost 100% of the time without arbiters, reavers, dark templar, high templar or carriers.
I can beat you in S-K-A-T-E every time because I don't even need to know all the tricks because I have all the basic ones down so well.

If you are losing close games due to micro or shit like vulture raids at the D+ level, it is DEFINITELY because your fundamentals are shit.
If you fuck up a trick because your toe slipped or your speed was off it's because you haven't learned how to ride the board correctly to do the trick.

You are probably trying to do too much. You are overthinking, overreacting and following multiple tech trees too quickly. This is also indicated by the fact that you care so much when you lose.
When you learn tricks, you don't go out as a complete noob and go; "today I'm going to practice ollies, kickflips, heelflips, grinds, boardslides, manuals, etc. etc." You must pick 1 thing and master it to hell. Then move on to the next trick (whilst throwing in the old tricks for practice here and there along the way).
(but caring about losing doesn't mean that imo. It shows passion or emotion[anger]. The idea is to understand why it makes you angry though and prevent that from happening.) Generally I get mad when I lose at something because either A) I had the game in the bag but blew it cause I got lazy, B) some kind of luck or imbalance fucked me over, C) I totally make a mistake early on against a worse player but the effect is cumulative and unrecoverable [but being the stubborn ass I am continue on anyways for 20 minutes and lose].

You need to step out of the mindframe that this game has to be so difficult.
You need to realize that doing a trick is simple, you just gotta practice it and have the courage and timing to execute it properly.

If you want to get B level you will have to master the entire tech tree yes, but trying to do it all at once will not work.
If you wanna be a pro skater then you're gonna have to master all the tricks at some point and have a pretty big skill set to be able to compete with other pros. They may kill you with the simple precision and ease of basic tricks ollies,shuvits,180°'s :: Manner pylons, Proxy gates, 4pools and you won't even get to the point to break out your 360 hardflip down a 8 stair, because they are gonna 'SKATE' you before you have a chance.

Work on the basics, learn when it's safe to expand, scout his expansions, defend gay vulture shit with pylon walls, learn to build pylons in appropriate places before you need gates so your macro doesn't suffer.
Learn how to peddle, when to peddle, when to slow down/speed up, when to bail out of a trick, where to skate, when to skate, etc.

You can be making probably almost twice the amount of actual fighting units that you currently are by the time the first important battle takes place. Try doing that. Just make a fuckton of units, control them properly and don't get owned by harassment or his outexpanding you. Simple instructions.
In other words don't try to be a one trick pony because if it fails then you are worthless.
If you really want more help PM me, I can easily get you to C- within a week if you have the time to play enough.
