As you know, I enlisted in the army two weeks ago and we were required to stay two weeks on an island for us to adjust to military life. I've just been away too long. Surprisingly, I never felt a single urge to play starcraft nor use the computer over the past two weeks that I was in the army.
I'm back today and its hard to adjust back to the civilian life I once had not too long ago.. even typing on the keyboard seems weird. Maybe its because I've been handling my rifle for too long.
Life in army was okay. The first few days were a little tough. Its just the contrains and margins drawn that kept me under pressure alot. I missed my family so much that I almost broke down on the third day. I usually see my family everyday and not having to do so for 3 days was quite hard for me. But after 6 days, I must say that I kinda adjusted well.
Handling a real-life rifle was a nice experience. I think it needs alot of responsibility.. My bunk mates are also fantastic people. I will miss them when we part ways.
Anywayz, its good to be back home.
