I hate it hate it hate it when people check /stats of a person and move them down to the other team. I.e they take the guy with good stats and play the shit players. Does anyone here do this?
Why?
1. It won't improve your game. I'd rather play the better person by having a challenge.
let me know your thoughts cause i'm sick of people wasting 1 minute pre-game picking the guy with better stats, it's so sad. It is about winning in the end, but you won't get to that winning stage if you keep picking the better player.

this is why I purposely like to have a crappy record (on b.net) so the host moves me to the other team, and then I make him regret it ^^
|
|
I am not at all a 2v2 player but sometimes I play it for fun but if the host does this player switch I leave the game.
|
That is mad frustrating but sometimes it's because the host is planning to team with someone he knows who happened to get there late. Still, usually the host would explain in that situation, so it still ticks me off when I get moved down.
|
Often this is done when the host is actually friends with the other player. I usually only play 2v2 when I have a partner I know, so I do this frequently.

make an ID like !&/({[]{]!%_-|#(/!&@€$£$€$¤/!=¤&§½1 or something

I think it's kind of weird when I switch a friend to my team and someone freaks out, thinking that I think they suck, or complaining that I'm stacking the teams. Just 'cause we don't have a clan tag obviously means we've never seen each other before, right?

It's quite annoying when people do this when I'm just moving my friend over to my team.

I have friends who like to play 4v4 a lot just for fun. Whoever is hosting always has to move teams so all four of us has to be together. There's always some guy who freaks out, "Hah, team stacking faggot, cya!"
|
One of the main reasons why I've been staying away from 2v2's these days is for this reason.
Hate it so much.

I think it is ok to pick your ally when you play pubs because i hate to play with guys who are 3-15 and have 50 apm and 0 knowledge about the game. Hovewer i usually ban them or put one in each team to "balance" ( if there are two noobs like this ). If one of my opponent have a decent record, i ask him if he wants a better ally and i will kick the noob if he says so.
I love to play 2v2 but my old mates are inactive and i have to join pubs and this makes me sometimes quite angry to play with retards. Yesterday i played a 2v2 python P( me ) T vs T Z. I open with 2 gates zeal and try to pressure the zerg who went for a greedy 3 hatchs lings. After an effective attack with my first zealots i think that my ally who went mech would just finish him with a vult raid but no, he went 3 starports wraiths ( a stupid selfish cheesy bo designed for 1v1 only imo ). End of the story, i teched to 3 gates goons and got raped by mass speedlings + a rine drop in my main whereas my ally was still massing wraiths -.-
I HATE PUBS T-T
|
And then there's the BGH community where 3 pretty-well rounded players would team up and pub some innocent east newbs. Where's the value in newb-bashing?
|
I only 2v2 with my real life friend so if i ever move you, that is the reason :D
|
haha, i joined a game where this happened yesterday, but I did /stats to survey the damage and realized the host had less points than my partner. Although once you get past D+ rank in 2v2 on iccup that means they've played it quite a bit and have some knowledge/mechanics and will take orders really well, like long walks on the beach, etc (Gi.anderoo on iccup gogo gosu smurf ally???)
|
xd people actually do this? so glad I only ever play 2v2 when I have a partner

Arranged team vs random people is actually worse than just trying to fix the brackets based on stats.

OMG CHEATERS
I do this all the time, but because my brother and I 2v2 on east. So it always looks like he is taking the better player.

Yeah one always hear stuff like that when playing with friends and when you say you are friends people get scared and leave. It's like lose/lose there.
