Hi pals. I'm not sure if this is really an injury or whatever but I've recently been having some knee problems.
The problem has been around for a month or so now but today it just took a different phase.
I ran last night and toward the end of my run, I felt my knee having some knocking sensation there. Its like 2 bones are rubbing against each other.
Then I wake up today and each step I take up the stairs, I feel the same feeling as I did when I ran.
I've actually been training hard for my national service in the military in about a months time but this thing has really ben hindering my progress.
Does anyone know how I can help the problem? I was thinking of going to the doctor around next week or so.

You've got so many blog posts compared to your amount of posts....

REALLY??? I didn't notice LoL

go to doctor, TL cannot offer any useful medical advices....
|
Is it painful? or is just a wierd clicking or rubbing of the bones? whatever it is, i'd take a break from running because it sounds like it's getting worse and go get it checked out.
One of my friends had slight problems with his knees...and one football game a slight knock to his knee dislocated it, and he was in a cast for months. And then exactly 1 year later the same thing happened to his other knee...
so be careful :p

Go see a doctor you idiot and if you can't afford a visit then stay off your leg until the sensation stops.

out of curiosity, where's the pain relative to the patella? or there's no pain, just a clicking sound? little confused.. and yeah, see a doc.

this is fairly common when u exercise a lot if u never had traumatic injuries that could lead to that( like a fractured knee cap) then its not likely to be a problem some people develop arthritis early on but u wouldve known about it by now. Also theres a liquid around your knee cap and joints that makes them move/rotate smoothly. But again, if u dont have a serious pain, just let yourself rest and try again. If it comes back, see a doctor. Bet its not worth it though

Go to the doctor like everyone said. I have a problem with my right knee and it got dislocated 2 times because of sports. Being on crutches for about 1 - 1 1/2 months is not fun.

No idea what a patella is :/ And there's a slight pain with a clicking sound.

The patella is the knee cap isn't it? Like if you touch your knee, you will feel a hard bone and that is it.
|
Shit is it bad if I can actually move my knee cap and feel some weird grinding sensations?
|
Dunno about grinding sensations but it's not that weird to be able to move the kneecap when your leg is straightened out and relaxed
