Medics are great for healing units. If you have 12 marines and 3 or 4 medics you can take out hydras, or zealots without loosing many men. Even if you're fighting against 9000 hydralisk? | ||

Its always a nice idea to go 9 probes...pylon...forge first and get a few canons because of so many lamers who like to rush now. | ||

REGULAR BUILD ORDER This time build 4 drones and then an overlord, then the 9th drone.... keep them working and make a spawn pool, then 10th-12th drones then make 2nd hatchery then make 13th and 14th drone, and then get your 2nd overlord, then pump 6 men out then 3 more drones for gas, get 2 more overlords and make hydra den also make 12-16 zerglings for defense, then make hydras, make 12 or so men... then upgrade hydralisk speed and range and zergling speed, also upgrade one hatchery to lair and in the other upgrade burrow and so on.... O_o | ||

ANY MAP FULL BUILD ORDER INCLUDING DEFENSE sounds promising! First, you start out by building 3 probes equaling 7 and you build a pylon. While the pylon builds get your 8th probe and wait until pylon finishes and build a gateway on one side. Then get your tenth probe while the gateway is building and get another gateway on the other side of the pylon make the pylon in between them. Then get 2 or 3 zealots for safety and build 1 more probe a pylon and another probes. Send one zealot to explore so that you can find extra resources and your enemy. If you find the enemy and he doesn't't have as much as you then you attack with all you have. If its a terran and has 2 full bunkers already then forget it but keep one zealot 5 inches from you base so that you can see the enemy coming or if its terran so that he won't bunker you in your base keep making zealots so that you can just rush him. If you don't find enemy then keep building.You should now have 12 probes, 3 zealots, 3 pylons, and 2 gateways. Now, you build 2 more zealots, 2 more pylons each one build near probe area and 2 more probes. You should have 14 probes going for minerals now. Now you can make 1 more gateway near the other two touching the 3rd pylon that is reinforcing all gateways. You now 3 more zealots, a assimilator for gas, and a dragoon core. Send 3 probes for gas or 4 making a continuous flow so that no probe has to wait more then 2 seconds to get gas. Make a few more pylons so that you would have 24 or 30 extra psi supply. Get 6 more zealots or at least have a total of 12 or 15 and make a forge. Upgrade the armor or shields ability in forge, preferably shields first and then make 2 more zealots. Upgrade the dragoon length ability in cybernetic core. And make 2 more zealots. You should have 20 zealots now. Now you make 3 or 4 dragoons. By now your shields upgrade should have finished long ago so upgrade the armor, or shields if you upgrades armor first. Now either i go for reavers and the drop by the probes technique or i go for citadel of adun and get my speed upgrade for zealots. I usually like to do that. I also build a few cannons everywhere in my base so that every inch is covered from possible wraith attack. I especially put 3 photons near probes so that they don't get killed. Remember if you don't protect your probes well then you'll lose. Also remember that some people like to drop their units from he side so build some cannons around your base. By now you should build a templar archive and upgrade the psionic storm ability. Now find a suitable place to build your second base. Find a place and send 1 probe with 8 zealots and 2 dragoons. Make 4 more zealots and 2 dragoons to replace those. Make more pylons as needed too. Next, go to new place and build a nexus and 2 or 3 pylons spread out. If enemy is terran you would want to build cannons near those pylons right away. Spread them out. Make sure the wraiths can't hide all the way up or in the top corner of minerals while killing your probes. . You should make a second forge now if you have enough resources going, and upgrade in forges twice as fast, upgrade armor and attack too level two since shields should be already upgrade and attack and shields if you upgraded armor first. Make sure you make at least 12 probes for minerals in new base and 3 for gas again. Make 2 gateways in your new base and make a robotics factory, after the factory finishes build an observer building and make 3 or 4 observers, also upgrade the observer speed and detect range. Spread the observers around your bases to detect cloaked or non-cloaked enemies either waiting or coming. Try to get into your enemy's base since the observer is cloaked in can go undetected but carefully watch for towers, spore colony's, overlords, science vessels, cannons, or other observers so as not to be detected. Press "s" to stop your observer and move out of range. While those two are building, make 4 more dragoons and 2 zealots in your main base. You should have found your enemy by now so start making attack strategies. If he's zerg just bring your guys for a frontal assault. It might be a good idea to bring a templar along with full power or at least 150 energy to do 2 psionic storm attacks. Send a suicidal zealot in with the templar behind him and press "t" button on keyboard and then select a group of enemy's and storm a little in front of them and then run back to your army which should be close behind. Remember you can't psionic storm buildings, only units. Then, you should be constantly exploring right now, upgrading in the forge, making more zealots, dragoons, and a few templars. Remember to keep attacking your opponent. Always hit his second bases or mini-bases as i like to call them, for they supply him with resources and are usually less powerfully then the main base, but given enough time they won't be. Remember to expand and make a 3rd or 4th base for resources. Keep making pylons, dragoons, and zealots as needed. And you probably won't have to make more probes for your 3rd base cause the main base probes would get all resources there already and just send them to your 3rd base half at a time with protection. Cause sending them all and getting into a trap would really suck. Keep upgrading in your forge as soon as it finishes, keep constant watch over both of them. Make sure to upgrade shields and armor to level 3 and while attack is level 2 already so develop a system to keep the upgrades balanced. Make sure you get all 3/3/3 upgrades for you land units. Then when you have a 3rd base or even 4th you can make 2 stargate. Upgrade air now and make some scouts, 4 or 6. Then build the fleet beacon. Now you can upgrade your scouts speed which is very important and make carriers, if you have the resources. If you decide to make carriers then you have to upgrade the maximum interceptors that a carrier can carry in the fleet beacon. You also have to make a minimum of 4 carriers with full interceptors for them to be effective, i prefer to make at least 6 fully equipped before attacking. You can also make a second cybernetic core and start upgrading you air. Keep your scouts and carriers together. In then end of the game you should make lots of dragoons because of big air possibility. Also keep observers near all bases with zealots to stop possible nuke attacks. Attack your enemy in good combinations, the best one i can think off is to psionic storm the entrance, then patrol in all 24 zealots, 24 dragoons, 6 carriers, and 6 scouts as fast as possible together, good luck and msg me using email, icq, or bnet if you need help. DEFENSE Just follow the first 2 paragraphs and then when you get your second base, then build pylons in a perimeter around your base and then build a layer of photon cannons around your perimeter outside the pylons. Then make another layer if you want but leave spaces big enough so that dragoons could get through. But still you need to have 20 zealots and 10 dragoons with some upgrades cause cannons won't do it alone they are just to help the unit forces out and to slow down the enemy. GOOD LUCK. | ||

Start of by sending the 4 scvs for minerals making the 5th one. Make 9th scv which builds barracks and 10th which makes supply. Then make 3 more scvs send 2 for minerals and build a barrack with the other. While building barrack make 2 more scvs and build another barrack and then get another supply. After that make 6 marines and another supply. Now make 2 more scvs while making a gas refinery. Send them for gas and make a few more marines now. Now make an academy and 2 more scvs. Now make a factory, while factory keeps going make a few more marines a supply or two and explore. When academy finishes make some medics and wait for factory to finish. When factory finishes make another factory and then an armory. Make support bays if you want to make tanks or leave the factories like they are to make goliahts. Its always a good idea to build 1 support bay and give one factory the ability to make tanks for future needs. dont forget to upgrade charon boosters for goliaths in the terran support bay. the first half sounds to good to be true, but 2nd factory and goliaths? | ||

I've also seen that some people put supply depots in front of their bunkers in bloodbath or hunters, where there is one open exit. That is lousy strategy, cause its a waste of 200 minerals and 16 food because they only slow down zealots and zerglings in the beggining of the game because marines, hydralisks, and dragoons can take out the supplies from farther range then the bunkers can shoot. Off course most people will argue but what if i have tanks behind my bunkers waiting to hit anything that goes for my supplies, well i have this for you, enemy tanks can kill them, plague can kill them, guardians can kill them, any air unit that attacks, and maybe dragoons or hydralisks with maximum range upgraded, if tanks can hit hydras then i suggest just closing your opponent in and taking over the rest of the resources, making him use the supplies as his own error, and then as soon as possible create something effective to kill supplies from long range. Hahahaha. | ||
