He said it's "Oblivion with guns, the only thing oblivion had going for it was its graphics, and they're not even very good in fallout" I'm not sure how any of you can have faith in Bethesda after that pile of shit Oblivion came out. did it hurt when that horse kicked you in the head? And on topic, fallout 3 is brilliant! Just as absorbing as oblivion. Lovely sounds, dialogue, atmosphere, combat system, delinearization. Awesome in general!

It's like a hundred page of drama that's completely unfunnny and retarded and not a single game related comic anymore, which were at least bearable, what a hack.

I have played around 20 hours of it and I am absorbed. I love the cinematic experience of this game. V.A.T.S mode is essentially slow-motion killing with some amazing cinematic effects. Sometimes the camera will go to the villains point of view as they get blown apart and other times it will chase the bullet as it enters the head of the victim. Really makes you feel like you are playing a movie.. an experience that a lot of us (myself included) try and pursue. Aside from the stellar fighting I enjoy the weapons. Being able to create entirely new weapons, repair existing weapons from the parts of others or buying schematics for new weapons to be put together at a workbench are all fun characteristics of the game. I especially enjoy the weapons themselves.. they have the flare of a post-nuclear ravaged world while stilll imbedding some of that style that you can only find in a Fallout game. Take the "fat boy" for instance.. a mini-nuke shooting rocket launcher. REALLY fun to shell a cluster of super mutants from a distance and watch the gratifying mushroom cloud rise up on the horizon over the gorgeous ruins of Washington D.C. My staple weapon however is Abraham Lincoln's repeater. Shoots .44 magnum rounds and.. well it's fucking lincoln's gun of course I use it. The dialogue in the game is not top-notch amongst games overall but for this game I find it quite fine and fun. I love that with levels of speech you gain new dialogue but also can "win over" people by accessing attempts at goading them to give you better rewards or to skip a mission entirely. The fact that I feel like I have some say in how this game goes does a lot for me. I also really like what this game does story wise.. I feel like the road warrior roaming these lands finding little clusters of people or cities of ghouls.. all wary and welcoming at the same time. I love interacting with the brotherhood of steel or literally sitting back and watching 3 brotherhood of steel paladins duel with a group of super mutants. I have played for a good 20 hours and have done very little in terms of the main quest aside from find a Doctor who had recently seen my father. I have detonated a nuclear weapon in a city. I have a strange visitor that helps blow away enemies with a giant magnum. I have had a mercenary group ambush me trying to collect a bounty that was put on my head for being too evil. I have helped the brotherhood of steel search the national archives... I love this game.

I trade in the games I feel have little or no replay value or aren't that good of a game to begin with. The only game I miss that I traded in has been "The Darkness." Realy short game with a LOT of class imo. Loved it.

I'd rather be ridiculed for slight belief in astrology than have to live my whole life with a horse shoe indent on my forehead whilst walking into walls repeatedly and shouting at anyone who doesn't share my fervour for barbie pony adventures 3.
