Every time I stay up til 5 am or so I get so pissed off because of all the fucking koreans on iccup.

They're like 1v1 D+ Python? And I'm all like well I'm not C- this season yet so ok let's go.

Then I get steamrolled and I'm like what did I do wrong. So I check bwchart first and bam.... 300+ apm.

Every fucking time. God it's so fucking frustrating when they're low rank and have just started new accounts and just own the fuck out of me.

edit: I don't have anything wrong with iccup, I love iccup. I just hate the people playing T_T

iCCup at night is so awesome.

Every time I stay up till ~ 5am or so I get a nice surprise because of all the lovely koreans on iccup

They're like 1v1 D+ Python? And I'm like Ooh I'm not C- yet so let's play!

Then we play this amazing game, which I just get so much more out of just playing foreigners!

And the best part is, ITS EVERY FUCKING TIME. SO AWESOME. GOD ITS SO INVIGORATING TO PLAY PROS AT SUCH A LOW RANK. I feel privileged every time i can play at night.

Hahahahaa

I get frustrated.

My PvZ abysmal, so when a korean beats me it's not a big deal.

However, my PvT is pretty good and my PvP is solid, so when I get owned PvP and watch and should've won based on what I see, then realize he had 300+ apm and therefore just had better probe production than me, it gets really frustrating that I just don't have the handspeed atm to beat that.

I love the challenge, and proud to say I've gone about 54% with mostly Koreans.
In fact I've gotten so much better at getting raped than winning a long game vs another mediocre player like me.

Although I admit, I PvT instead of TvT, and we all know how imba PvT is at the lower levels.

Since I don't care about rank/stats, I always enjoy playing against koreans. But I do play protoss, so I can still win at the low levels even though my opponent does 3 actions for every one I do.

I don't think it's that much harder but you can't mess around as much. The "quick win" strats that you can roll off isn't going to fly so much vs. the Koreans, and if you get behind it's not easy coming back. I think the best method is just play solid and focus, a lot of times the Koreans will just self destruct.

I agree with chill. PvT is by far the easiest matchup at lower levels. You can make alot of mistakes, and still come out ahead simply b/c its much easier for toss to macro. Especially when he is against a low level terran who doesnt know how to pressure / take his 3rd.

lol well it's good to play at night and beat koreans, it's much more satisfying knowing you have S. Korean flags in your wins than 1231231 foreigners. plus, like heavonearth said, if you manage to randomly stumble upon a progamer smurf it's like

It's all good practice. Who cares about your record now when it will help get better that much faster :-)

Lol no...

Trying to go for a long game versus someone with 300+ apm is suicide. I know because all I ever do is go for long games, because I'm a total macro whore. They ARE going to have better worker production than you, and they ARE going to have better macro than you, and they ARE going to have faster expansions than you (while still having a larger army wtf?), and they probably will have a better build order as well.

I don't usually go for cheese builds because I don't think they make me much better, but against koreans it might be the only way to go.

Heh yeah well when I play a game really well and make no mistakes and still lose, I get really mad and punch the wall and stuff.

I mean I can take a loss when it's clearly my fault, but when it's tiny little things like my probe production wasn't 100% perfect, it gets frustrating.

And yeah record doesn't matter... except that I know that I was solid C- last season and this season I'm stuck right at the low end of D+.... it's really embarassing when my friends are like "hey sup haven't talked to you in a while, what rank are you" and I'm like "D+ -_-"

Lol consider yourself lucky. Soon your multi-tasking will be insane. You have to fend off the Probe harass, scout with your own worker, and keep on making SCV's/depots.

But it's true that most US players are garbage and get mad easily.

Not really. There are some good players. Its just the majority of the players who are bad are from the USA. There are very bad koreans as well.
