Most of the time i have intentions to 5hatch, especially if he fast expands, but if he doesn't that doesn't mean i lose, it only means i need to adapt my play accordingly. Also identifying map positioning and possible strategy's based on position you must keep in mind, for example if i get close proximity vs Toss on Python, i won't put it past him to reaver me early on, and they shouldn't put it past me to go 2hatch tech into mutas for the potential to end the game fast. But i don't really like all in strats and i haven't perfected a transition from 2hatch mutas into macro, without doing a significant amount of damage.
