Second weekly doodle post n_n (Last week I got banned because of some certain TL-seniority issue over my OPINION... cough...) So today you guys gets a double portion n_n Enjoy [:. As always, feedback/comments/whatever always welcome.
Starting off small... An elephant on today's physics test. Thought it'd give some people fond memories of that one meme. Cell phone camera, sorry ):.
Some stereotypes I drew while bored in between BW games. The guy with the pitchfork is supposed to be a hick, not understanding the numbers in the middle. The Asian on the left... Well, you know. I managed to combine Korean, Chinese, and Japanese themes in the drawing/words. Fine-tip permanent marker.
Survival of the fittest. Carrot < Bunny < Serpent < Eagle < Hunter < Bear < Dragon! Also, I drew a caricature of a kid in our class who has huuuge hands and feet but is 5'6'' (top left).
Spaceship abducting a man in a suit. Meaningful lyrics from Mogwai (my handwriting sucks, I know). A string instrument, and 2 drawings of my right hand done with my left hand (explains why they are kinda shitty).
I titled this "Amor Vincit Omnia" because I actually spent more than one period on this one, and I stole the name from the TL member. For those of us who don't know Latin, it means "Love Defeats All." I though it applied because the skeleton is still serenading for his lover after death, or at least that is how I meant it. The larger skeleton was to give the picture a bit more drama I guess, I don't know. Was bored xD.
It's small. It's simple. But I like it, for some reason. It makes me think of meeting people alone in the dark, which is gives me a certain feeling of humanity, I guess. Take from it what you will?
I don't like this one that much but some of my friends did. I was thinking of someone like me, but in the future, where no one listens to anything but their music and the air is too polluted for us to handle without gas masks. Shutting out the outside.
I guess I had a thing about death/skeletons recently? A skeleton standing in front of the grave of a loved one, sun set in the back. Not that well done, but I like it nonetheless.
A knight, a theme I used often when I was younger and played D2. This is just a retrospective piece I guess.
Outlines turned into houses.
And a silly one to close it off [:
Hope you enjoyed, I will have new ones for next week n_n
P.S.: I didn't meet XCetron's request because a. I forgot b. I don't like imagining what people look like and drawing it I guess

Making stuff is the best, good job.

I like the "Amor Vincit Omnia" and the survival of the fittest one. Both very well done

Whats your favorite piece of artwork youve ever done?

But honestly, that is a good but insanely difficult question. There are so many things that I have done that I could call art (I don't mean this boastfully, since many of us are not just focused in one field of creativity) - poetry, essay, painting, drawing, etc., it's simply impossible for me to choose just ONE piece from ALL fields, or even perhaps a favorite for each field. Every piece has its own beauty (except shitty doodles, of course xD), am I right to say that I believe the beauty of a photo is inferior or superior to the skill of a drawing? Even though it'd just be my opinion, I'd still feel like I am causing some sort of injustice in making it.
Maybe if I could see every piece of "art" I've ever done in my life in front of me right now I could make some choices, but any choice from right here feels obsolete and ignorant. Sorry ):
Lol, you wanted a piece of amazing artwork, but instead got a rant. I suck.

I like to think that essays that I do for school, though are assigned and have certain rubriks, are art because of the way I sell it. I think the essays of others, when done well are art too.
But closer to what you meant, I generally don't do art at all. Just doodle, MS Paint doodle, or MS Paint over pictures of people to make them look funny. Once in a while I take photos, but I rarely frame them or do anything to alter them, I just keep them as records of nature, so I give credit to nature not myself for that art. I used to paint on my own when I was young, but I haven't done that in like 5 years. I guess I don't do art, really.
Although I agree with your joke in a serious way, because a thought expressed well is a form of art to me. If they weren't then books would not be art, which they most certainly are. Literature is art of the word [:

Draw a depiction (I don't know how to say it but I think you know what I mean) of that game we played. Remember? "Dancing Queen, only 17"

Good style, looks like your basic needs some brush up but that's hardly a matter. Style comes first.

Where is our rep pack biatch.
evanthebouncy, could you please elaborate? I think I know what you mean - art basics like proportion and certain attention to detail. The thing is I'm not overly trying in most of these drawings, they are just fun doodles n_n. But thank you for your comment, and if you meant something else I'd like to hear it.
