Stupid Cops

I was driving home from work yesterday, and it happens to involve a broken railroad crossing. The barrier is constantly down with flashing lights and ringing bells even though there's no train. Usually though some Samaritan is nearby to lift the barrier to let traffic through.

There's no train in sight, and someone has gotten out of to lift the barrier. I get about 2 cars away from the crossing, and see this police officer come and tell the guy to stop. Way to be useful.

20 minutes later, I make a U-turn over the rubber divider and find another, less optimal way to get to the highway. In all, it took me 40 minutes to go 5 miles.

how long has it been broken? if its been broken for awhile the cops an idiot and if it was just broken, hes just doing his job

cops are fucking wasteful, these "traffic" laws fuck everything up. theyre only good against crime, use their powers for crime and quit fucking hurting normal people. geez.

I get annoyed when people blame cops for 'f-ing up' driving in the USA. Yes at times they do stupid things. But most complainers probably can't even fathom what it would be like if the cops backed off.

Exactly. It always seems like normal people are inconvenienced with laws that are supposed to keep criminals in check.
