Just a random list I find useful in game. Little stuff that might have given you an edge.
1. Use the purchase sticky (tp) key.
I bind my purchase sticky to f8. the default item is tp, it helps when you got around 100 gold and about to die and also when you need to buy a quick tp from the shop or base. ez efficiency. it can be found next to the quick buy
2. Bind your shop key.
I bind my 'open shop' key to B. So that instead of pressing the shop button, i press the easier to access B key.
3. Shift-Click an item from the shop
You can now open the shop with relative ease. When I open the shop, I shift-click the item to put it into the quick buy slot.
4. Use the quick buy
I bind my quick buy to f5. If you have an item in quick buy, it will have a golden border (along with a neat notification) if it is purchasable. Same as #1, it can be easier if you can buy an item with a push of a button in haste.
5. Bind your stash key
I bind my stash key with G. If you have multiple items and a lazy fuck like to press the get all button, you can just press G to get them all. It's all about efficiency.
6. Bind the missing bot/mid/top keys.
Some people like to use chat wheels to notify if somebody is missing, I hate this since im using my mouse on another area. I bind my missing bot/mid/top keys on ',' '.' and '/'. Easier to access using my left hand rather than use the chat wheel + mouse.
7. Right click deny.
Most people probably click attack key and attack ally creep to deny them, I prefer to use my right click to deny the creep (instead of clicking attack or A on the creep).
command to enable this is : dota_force_right_click_attack 1
8. Using the mouse as indicator of skill range
Ever tried to use assassinate but you are not sure if your sniper would walk the missing distance or immediately cast the skill? Use your mouse! If the skill is in range, the cursor would change into a cross hair, if not then it will change into a cross hair with a figure of a walking person

Im talking about the last 2 cursors at the bottom.
that's all. i hope this helps you. it grew my mmr 3 inches. doctors hate me

There was that reddit post this weekend about how you should go to sleep early and wake up in the middle of the night for your server, because most people still playing at that time will be tired and sleepy.
Obviously only works if you're unemployed or a student or have some strange work hours

these are actually helpful tips guys

this is genius. I followed the steps in order and my mmr grew by 3.1 inches.
If you use B on the shop as a keybind, what hotkeys do you use for your items? I'm a lazy person and I use the defaults (yeah I can hear you guys cringe already) z-n but I rarely have more than 4 usable/consumables at a time. Usually I have Force Staff, wards, tp, dust. Wards don't actually matter much since I deploy them almost instantly and it don't matter which hotkey they use.
