I think its better to just to learn when you are in range by playing that character a lot. I am not sure if that makes any sense. It is like target assist I guess, or an Aim Bot. That is what I feel like your 8th step does. But I suppose if Valve doesn't make it so you can't do that then it is legal.

icystorage Jollibee19343 Posts January 31 2015 15:01 GMT #22 There's actually a command in game that valve allows (adds a visual line to determine if you are in cast range or not) i believe it's dota_disable_range_finder 0 try it it's legal since valve knows about this and didnt remove it

SpiritoftheTunA United States20903 Posts February 01 2015 14:29 GMT #24 instead of using right click deny, which messes with your movement if you accidentally rightclick friendly creeps (even undeniable ones) i unbind s for stop and keep this in my autoexec.cfg: alias "attackSpam" "dota_stop ;mc_attack" alias "leftclick" "+sixense_left_click; -sixense_left_click" bind "s" "attackSpam; leftclick" this makes s stop and then attackmove, so if you mouseover anything, you can click s over and over and when you release you'll release your auto. this works for denies as well because it's an a-click after the stop command
