It seems like a chilled track, but a lot of the sounds seem out of tune / out of place in places (for example at the beginning it sounds like the pianist is accidently hitting 2 keys when he meant to play 1 at times). I did enjoy it other then that though

Sure : ) What would you like to know? What do you already know? Ever used a DAW? Any background in music?

Day9 would be proud of the trumpet-sounding synths around the 50-second mark
5/5

i enjoyed very much the feeling of it and the whole middle part of the song; it does give a hopeful feeling i would have gone another way about the beginning and the end; starting it off with only the drums part slowly rising like you have it, then adding the piano melody at 0:30 and the rest as it is. And the end i would have it end abrutly, or with the melody only, like a reminder of the tune. Even as it is at the cut-off you can hear the fade just stopping at 4:40 instead of fading out completly. cool to hear your work!

Yea that's a possible alternative but I think that introducing the piano first is more emotive
Abruptly? You mean without a long release tail at the last note?
or with the melody only, like a reminder of the tune
You mean play the last section without the drums? That could work too, or maybe stretching it for another few bars while removing the drums I'll know for sure after trying it out.
hahaha I do realise that I didn't fade it properly and thought of being a perfectionist and re-rendering everything but after watching it a few more times I was ok with it -- It's more similar to a real instrument.
