EPTI stood in the corner with 3 of my friends, All the bodies packed into a small space as people rushed to get drinks. I would have contemplated how i had ended up in this situation, if i didn't happen to be 4 shots in, and some other alcohol. The music was pumping, people where here, and it was time to unwind. I noticed in the corner of my eye a girl that i had made eye contact with earlier, drink in hand i decided to make my move.
Navigating the crowded hallway, i walked up to her and introduced myself. hey babe, I'm mysterymeat, + Show Spoiler +

"bass fishing?"
"mmhmm" "It was really fun, i caught one this big |------|"
"oh nice"
"the only problem is that bass are supposed to be this big |-----------------------------------|" I said as i put my arm around her shoulder. With a huge grin on my face I confessed that i had never gone bass fishing and that i thought she was really pretty and that we shoudl go dance. She turned around and told her friend, Being the good natured bass fishing gentleman that i am, I introduced myself to her friend, and with the biggest smile i could muster I said, "My name is mysterymeat, and i'm not creepy!"
"umm, i didn't think you were creepy to begin with, but now i do..."

Shucks, i blew that one pretty hard...
I turned around my arm still on girl A, and led her to the dance floor, we danced for all of 3 minutes before her best friend grabbed her and led her away. No matter, i prefer the good old catch and release myself.
Heading back upstairs i ran into my friend, telling him about my bass fishing adventure, he told me to do it again. he was like that girl over there was eyeing you, go talk to her. I was pretty hesitant, but like 30 seconds later, 4 guys had surrounded her and each where trying to talk with her.
"go swoop in there and save her" he said....
hmmm " alright"
As i made my way over i tried to get past the 4 dudes, but they where blocking the hallway. As i hopped up and down, i made eye contact with her. lets call her her. She stepped back to give me some space, and i ended up standing right next to her.
"did you cause all of this?"
"Ummm.... I think so"

we talked for a bit, and then i ended up asking about her plans after finals for break.
"what about you?"
"oh nothing much compared to last year"
"what did you do last year"
"I went bass fishing!" "i Caught one this big |--------------/, but they are supposed to be this big |-------------------------------------|"
I said as i put my arm around her.

Almost right after i did that, some big dude turned around and asked me to hold his drink. I said yes, and when he turned around threw his drink in the trash.
"we should probably leave before he turns back around, you wanna go dance downstairs?"
"sure :D"
