I've decided to follow my passion and drop everything to become a progamer.
In order to be picked up by a team, I knew I would have to beat a progamer, hopefully one of Code S caliber.
So I challenged Supernova to a BO3 (I knew I could not beat a protoss in the current state of the game so I settled for a terran).

Though they were very close games, Supernova narrowly edged me out 2-0.
This has really dampened my spirits but I will not give up!
Next stop: NA Masters !
Also, will someone please pick up Supernova for their team? He's easily top 10 terran and would definitely contend winning foreign tournaments if he was sent. He's also a nice guy!

Losing 2-0 to Supernova (he's top 10, not 5) dampened your spirits and you're not even masters on NA? You might want to temper your expectations as you'll need a lot more than just blind confidence to be a progamer.

Huk, this was just a joke blog  I know how hard it is to be a progamer!
I was watching his stream and challenged him, I didn't know he would actually respond and play me on NA! he's a cool dude.

And I was so sure you were HuK lol, though you don't use his standard abridged english so I shoulda known.
On the satire thing, 5 years into SC2, the satire of going pro is lost on me also .

Just logged in to say this is a bad satire and frankly it's rarely funny when a 'good' one is pulled off. Same goes for trolls.
And yes, I know it's futile to try and limit this stuff on the internet, but hey...

That's awesome that you got to play Supernova! Eh, the part about dropping everything to become a progamer is kinda not a recommended choice though, especially considering you're from the US and aren't even masters yet. If you can't manage to reach at least the top 16 of GM on NA at some point in the future, then I'd say you don't have much of a chance in WCS America or even pro sc2 in general. Good luck though, I'd like to see you up at the top someday soon!

people should start reading the comments before they actually comment lol, didnt think this was going to be a real "journey to progaming" knida thread, so read it with a grain of salt. but i guess it's kinda funny how gullible ppl are and actually fell for ur "satire". looks like ScareCrow was ur first victim lol and the rest just started lining up without looking.

How does it make you gullible? This sounds just like other blogs where people were actually serious about becoming progamers, I couldn't tell the difference either. I'll just say thank god (metaphorically speaking) that this is satire . I was getting worried

I thought the idea of facing supernova as a test to go pro is satirical because most foreign pros can't even beat him so why would an up and comer use this as a baseline?
Also the next top: NA masters was supposed to be an indication... but i guess some blogs are actually like this.
