So I just came back from studying abroad in Korea for 4 months, but I lost one of my luggages on the way back. I took an express bus from Daegu to Incheon International Airport. Once I got off the bus at the airport bus terminal, I realized that 1 of my luggages was not there and that someone had left their own luggage also. So my first thought was to just take their bag and go to the customer service counter. They made 3 announcements in trying to find the person who took my bag, but no one ever came. Our bags looked very similar and were of the same brand. Their bag had no contact info on the outside and I could not open it because there was a lock on it. The customer service lady told me to take the bag to the lost & found and to leave my contact info. So now I am waiting for a phone call from the person who took my bag or the lost & found center. Is there anything else I can do right now instead of waiting for a phone call? This is the first time this has ever happened to me and I am not sure what to do.

hmm well, whoever took your bag will likely open theirs and find out it doesn't have their stuff then call the airport. At least that's what I would do if I got the wrong bag since it's not my stuff in it. Hopefully when that happens, they'll put 2 and 2 and call you up to tell you that they got in touch with the person. I think you've done the best you can do. Hope you didn't have anything valuable in it :/

I would go to the lost+found center in a couple days anyway, because it's possible that they won't call you; and that the lost+found centre assumes they have called you so they won't call you either.
