Why are there so many friggen girl blogs all the time? Why do people ask random people on the internet, all with vastly different opinions, experiences, biases and intelligence levels how to ask girls out? Why?! For all you know some of these people with nice sounding opinions don't do so hot with ladies themselves, or are jaded by shitty past experiences (that were probably caused in part by asking people on the internet for advice kekeke).
If you have any sort of "girl blog" situation going on in your life, you ought to go to someone you respect in life and ask them for advice and how they would handle the situation and pass on the blog makings.
The last time I needed advice I went to the person I respect the most and goes for the same type of girls I go for, my second oldest brother and I asked what he would do in this situation where I was chilling with a girl who was really nice or whatever and I kind of wanted to ask out but didn't want to get said no to. Not only do I know about a lot of his past relationships and his personality, but I know that he's been fairly successful with women in the past, and is currently being successful with his wife for 2 years now.
All he did was give super simple advice and spoke briefly and simply about his experiences. He said that I should just go for it now, or really soon before the opportunity passes, or before I waste a bunch of time trying to get close to a girl who doesn't feel the same way. Then he told me about how that sort of thing happened to him a few times and he felt stupid.
Is this advice applicable to my situation? Is it from someone who I know to be reasonable? Is it from someone who I know isn't jaded or biased? Looks like yeah, so perhaps I can apply it to my own life sometimes! Cool!
And this doesn't speak to everyone who makes girl blogs. Plenty of people are capable of looking at a comment and saying, "that's bullshit," and moving on to the next comment until they find ones that make sense, so making blogs can be good for them, but for people who don't have a lot of experience with girls, or are young and impressionable you could kinda screw yourself.

Anyway, yeah. Fuckin' whatever. I just worked 60 hours and lifted 60,000 lbs over 5 days and I'm TIRED, so I'm just vibin' to music and practising SSBM. Sup with you guys?

well the only positive thing i can take away from clicking on ur blog is that there is a goodthaigirl.com ad to the right of it and she's kinda pretty.

I find the girl blogs here are more for entertainment rather than education.

Yeah i've never seen the idea behind girl blog's, i'm definitely not alpha/beta/whatever myself but surely people have other resources than anonymous starcraft fans to go to for advice

Try 60,000 lbs in 40 hours. But yeah, I get it. You get this huge rush of energy when work is over. It's so amazing.

Girl blogs are the reason for TL being great rather than good
|
Wow so meta. I can't believe this has not been brought up before.
|
Because it's entertaining? You don't need to read if you don't like them. There are many reasons for someone to post a girl blog. E.g. not everyone might have a brother. Or maybe they want anonomous advice? Or just other ppl point of view? They just want to vent a bad experience? Pretty much the same reason why you write an anti-girl blog

What type of girls do you go for? Is it a specific height, weight, race? I prefer zergs myself, do you know a strategy to ask them out?
|
Some people don't trust anyone in real life and it helps them to remove their anxiety by typing out what they feel for other people to see. Although this rarely leads to positive steps in their personal relationships, I think it is a psychological imperative for the brain to protect itself from stress, and by creating a girl blog, the user can feel temporary relief with the illusion that he/she is making positive steps towards getting advice that will later lead to action.
Now, what's up with all these fucking idiots who end like two paragraphs worth of text with "TL;DR"? That I don't get.

Some people don't have older brothers or caring fathers to talk to about these things. And it's not like the words of some random internet strangers are actually going to sway a person's actions. A teenager just needs someone to talk to in these situations, you know?

I don't care if I had to wade through 200 girl blogs as long as I stumble upon girlblogs near the level of zaMNal or MindBreaker

I can't say it better

People want to share their (usually fake) stories. This whole talk about friendzone or treating girls like they are from a different planet baffles me but whatever. Just talk to them normally or accept being single, which isn't bad either. And don't listen to advice on the internet, it's often written by PUA idiots who generalise often enough. A girl likes X.. nope. Every girl is different, just find out about her and get to know her as a human being, not as an object.
