I thought this was an interesting statement as it makes me curious what kind of narrative is created regarding the 'Alberta tar sands' outside of this province and outside of this country. Is it the common belief that our cesspool of industry is so large, filthy, and out of control that even passing through the southern part of our province will threaten to expose a traveler to its mess? I just find it interesting to know what people outside of Alberta are being told about the oil-sands and their reach throughout our geography - especially given that they are some 700 km away from Calgary. | ||
