This is going to be short and sweet.
Just paid off my student loans I racked up throughout college. About $10k to be precise.
The rest of my costs were paid as I went along working part-time throughout school living on next to no money as I couldn't get enough loan money to cover everything.
I'm so happy, but at the same time watching the most money I've ever had at one point all leaving my bank account in the blink of an eye saddens me. Feels like my account was just robbed lol t.t
But I've got a good job now so it shouldn't take too too long to build it back up.
Next on my list: Laser eye surgery (end of the summer hopefully) and going on vacation to Europe next year with some family & friends!

I also want to get lasik or something one day. It'll be a while until then though.

As a person who just paid off student loans two months ago, I know that it is a relief to not have to make those payments anymore. Feels really good, and now you have that extra money to save for whatever you want. (Trying to build that six month emergency fund...)

Indeed, I feel so free. Before it felt like I was just mitigating how far I plunged myself into the negative. Now that I'm finally in the positive and only going up it feels amazing.
Also, looking at my bank account balance, there should be another $700 missing from my bank account after making the payment. Where did this magical $700 come from and does it plan on staying??? WHO KNOWS??

Went to school for 3 years, graduated last year, so about a year to gather up the spare 10k while living on my own.
