No, the blog is not about dreams that I have seen or wish i could see but rather a dream i hope to fulfill one day.

So originally I had this whole loooooooooooooooooooooooooong blog post about who I am and where I'm from bu i decided to just cut all the nonsense and long stories and actually get this blog rolling. I think a short quick intor is in order though. So my name is Husain Haffejee and I roll under the tag/nick/screenname/w.e phant1m, and its a long story how i got it but thats not for today. You can find my tweets over at (@phant1m) and yeah. What i do mainly in my free time when not studying or rather used to do was interview Starcraft 2 players and write articles about Starcraft 2. Its been a long road from interviewing ActionJesus (yeah that guy who 6pooled pros at DH) to Huk (2 time winner of MLG). Anyways this brings me back to my original point The dream. After getting into eSports and watching my first MLG I had one dream. To somehow attend as many of these big events as I can and have an experience that I keep seeing in every blog and newspost. So what is stopping me from doing this? Well first off im a student so in terms of cash it sucks, and secondly im all over the other side of the world in South Africa so I cant just get over to DH or GSL or MLG to watch the event since way tooooooooooooooooooooooo far.

But I have a dream that one day I can get overseas to watch some of these eevents live and more so meet people from TL or our superstarts (day9, Apollo, Tastosis or any of them).

So as soon as I graduate (which is a short 3 months away) i plan to somehow travel through Asia (and maybe watch Dota 2 or something live that side) or if saved enough cash then to somehow go through europe a bit and maybe see something else.

Pictures are a bit meh but will see next time if I can do better with decent pics. :D

Hope you achieve your dream, and somehow get money to get to these events.

If I may give you advise the best thing is to get more known in the community (like you are doing with this blog), but also do newswriting stuf (mainly interviewing maybe?) for various sites. Maybe you can even do something for Teamliquid?
Eventually it "might" pay off.

Good luck with your dreams.

Btw I also plan on going to Asia. I'm done with my internship in about 15 weeks when I go play SC2 full-time and hope I can achieve my goals, possibly going to Asia for half a year or so.

@Gianttt so in terms of doing it and eventually getting paid. Was going to discuss it in a later blog about the sites out there and actually getting paid for stuff at one point. As times goes by and i vent more will let all stuff out soemtimes i think.
