Hey TL, I've been wondering about your opinion on how I should approach writing the series of Epik High reviews I plan to do for the future. My goal would be to do every Epik High album from 2003 to today, or know if there is even enough interest in this for me to engage in it. After my review of 99, I began to think, "There are way better albums in Epik High than that travesty, why not show TL and the world about the ones that I never talked about?" So after some contemplation, I decided upon Remapping the Human Soul because I see it as Epik High's magnum opus, and just a personal favorite. About a quarter of the way in, I thought of how important it is to see Epik High as a whole beyond one good album, and delve into the other ones that add context and history to the group. Then I began to believe a chronological series of reviews from beginning to end was the way to go, but since I already started on RtHS, I could delay that and start on Map of the Human Soul. So TL, this is where you come in, because I need your opinion on how I should approach this. The point of these reviews are:
a) Show TL the greatness of Epik High beyond one bad album b) Improve my writing and get some constructive criticism c) Do something productive beyond watching streams and going on 4chan
I would really appreciate your opinions on how to conduct this (or if I should at all!). At the end, a culminating bio of Epik High with some personal thoughts on the group and its future would be my end goal, and maybe I could review 99 with a more objective view.
*I would love some comments, regardless of whether you even care about this project or Epik High. Just a good sense of how I should take on this project would be nice.*
