ESWC started yesterday and the first game for the french qualifier was played straight after the opening ceremony. MiNiMaTH won in a convincing fashion against Millenium's AdelScott.
First game on stage this morning was another protoss Millennium player, Kleenex, against the zerg french powerhouse KenZy. This time the Millennium player was able to take the win.

Dayshi is favorite for the tournament, the terran player made a big impression at the WCS French step and is considering himself the best french player after Stephano and ToD. The second place should be very disputed with three players very close in skill level, they are all part of the top of the french scene, with neX being an unknown factor as he is not present a lot on online competitions but this LAN veteran and ESWC regular is not to be underestimated.

Unless he shows us something new this week i don't expect him to advance. I expect the two zergs taking the two first spots as they both have been on the rise lately.

I will catch some players and ask them questions, this morning there is not a lot of press so the players are not passing by the press zone after their games but i will get the winner from the match on the main stage this afternoon and ask him a few questions. If you have a question for a player let me know and i will try to ask him if i can catch him.
Update 12h13 : Kleenex and Neoangel are playing on the RTS stage, whereas Kenzy and Dayshi are playing on the smaller stage where you can watch First Person only and without casting. If kenzy looses he is pretty much out of the tournament.
