Hey guys,
So I want to finally make a blog where I can put all my gaming reviews, previews, and whatnot in. That's not to say that I don't like posting my blog stuff here, but rather it's just a lot easier to have my own personal blog for Press related purposes. I heard different things about which of the two services, Blogger or WordPress, is better but I'm still on the fence regarding which to choose. I am a bit more familiar with Blogger than WordPress , but I heard the WordPress allows for much more flexibility. I am unsure however if with that flexibility comes a more complicated learning curve to get a hold of most of the service's functions.
So TL, I come to you for help.
Are any of you guys familiar with one of the two blogging sites? If so, which would you recommend in my case?

Wordpress. Has much better hosting abillity and you can easily transfer your domain when needed. Blogger is obsolete compared to wordpress - just a bland extension of google services without much features or hosting ability. Wordpress is easy to use, and much more efficient to use.

I'd agree with the wordpress, TL knows where it's at
Wordpress has both a quantity and quality advantage. Blogger seems to be more of a very lightweight, ultra-simplistic kind of blog for people who aren't quite familiar with blogging etc.

wp is pretty awesome. get the version that you can host on your own server, especially if you know some basic html/css.
get familiar with the plugins/widgets, you can install a new widget for pretty much every feature you can think of within seconds.

I love Wordpress to pieces after having to spend a year or so working with it, which is probably as high praise as I can give any setup. For some reason, I just can't stop setting up terrible Tumblrs though... those guys just make it too easy to make a million blogs and hate yourself for not being able to manage them all.

Actually I picked WordPress.com which is the one where it handles the hosting and whatnot for you. Should I host my own? I don't know the first thing about hosting a website. Also, I don't have $$ to spend on a hosting site. WordPress.com has a free server, so I chose to go with it for now.

Sometimes the database-less CMS systems are better than these if you need a highly portable site, and easy maintenence & access. Just throwing it out there.
