Heroes Of Gaming 1: Julian Gollop

Richard_Lewis United Kingdom446 Posts July 20 2012 09:53 GMT #1 Thought this might be a good place to share this as there's a lot of people with an appreciation about the history of gaming over this neck of the woods. Anyway, started up a new video series that takes a look at people who have helped push the gaming industry forward. The first video focuses on a personal hero of mine, Julian Gollop. He's the man behind such great games as UFO: Enemy Unknown and many others, including my favourite game of all time (and precursor to MOBA titles) Chaos. The video is about 25 minutes long and looks at his coding career, which started in 1984 and is still active today as part of Ubisoft.

breakingties United Kingdom72 Posts July 20 2012 11:39 GMT #2 great video, awesome insight for me as im pretty young and my earliest memories of gaming was a sega megadrive/sitting watching my dad play warcraft 1 because apparently "it kept me quiet"
