On to the question. I have a friend staying the summer in Seoul, specifically the Banpo district. Unfortunately the closest pc bang he could find was something like 30 minutes away by subway, and I thought there must be a closer pc bang he overlooked since he can't really read the signs. If anyone knows of any nearby locations a general address or directions from a specific subway stop would be greatly appreciated.

Click on blog and it will give you the option to start a new blog which then you can add entries to. These will be posted in the blog forum! Don't worry about overlooking it, I wrote my first blog today and it took me about 20 minutes to figure out how. Mine only seems to have PM, Profile, Posts, and then below that subscribed threads, stream, and open liquidbets. Seems like somethings bugged. o_O

but not every pc bang is in there. He should just look around his area. Normally there are many pc bangs everywhere in Seoul for blog I guess you need to go to "profile" then "my blogs" and create one there.

Step 1: Go outside, and walk past 7 stores on any given street Step 2: Choose a PC bang from the 5 you just walked past. If you're not actually in the mood for gaming hey, you also just walked past a coffee shop and a noraebang. There's absolutely no way that the closet PC bang in his neighborhood is 30 minutes away.

Oh and yeah, if he just wants to browse the internet or write some emails etc, many cafes have at least a few computers in them too, as do noraebangs (although that'd probably be too expensive).

I have a TW account but the PC bangs all have the KR client installed and logging in gave me an error message. The internet at my apartment is kind of slow and its laggier to play on the TW/KR server here than it is from the US. I'm guessing that someone in this thread has encountered a similar problem? I do not know anyone who has a Korean ID number so that is really not an option and I really would like to be able to play while I am here.

This question was asked a few times in other threads but was never fully answered and there was some dispute about what the correct answer actually was. Anyways, is there any way I can play sc2 at a PC bang without a KR account? I have a TW account but the PC bangs all have the KR client installed and logging in gave me an error message. I do not know anyone who has a Korean ID number so that is really not an option and I really would like to be able to play while I am here. so just in case anyone shows up looking for answers with the same problem as me (unlikely since HotS is coming out and will allow cross server play), I found a solution. If you put any game on an external HD you can just plug it into the computer at the PC bang and either run it off of the external or copy it over to the computer directly. It will be deleted at the end of the day/week/whatever but you will be able to play. Hope this helps someone.
