So before I start, I would like to say if you are going to come in here and say just press R or whatever thing you think is right, don't do it.
I am trying to think of more unique ways to play zvp as I absolutely refuse to play the turtle do absolutely nothing and wait till toss attacks me zvp.
So I was thinking of ways to get some unique ideas to mess around with that not many people do and thought to myself that I should just make a blog asking people. I don't care what level you are, high, low, whatever it doesn't matter. I would like to hear some ideas you guys think should be tried or done in zvp that is rarely seen or never seen. I am willing to experiment with pretty much anything, but I am not a creative person at all. All you have to do is look at my guides I post and realize I get the idea from someone else and just do my own refinement ^^.
So with that TL, shoot me some ideas. I don't care how dumb it sounds, I may not try everything but I want to hear some ideas.

i dont play zvp but did all the drops based strats disapear ? like u could go infestor play and just get banelings with +2, and play macro with mass counter and drops ? idk i dont ever see that anymore and dont play the mu so i dont know the reason, but its really fun to watch and multitasking is fun, idk if it works tho

I've enjoyed doing baneling drops. Dropping 4 banes over mineral lines and doing the baneling drop over the army in engagements. It's a pretty old strat, but it seems to have fallen off lately. I saw some1 do it in DH yesterday and it worked pretty good. Very good with combination with fungals.

im not sure its first game of him vs creator on antiga this season gsl he gets a queen cross map, bring 4 drones, proxy hatch at nat, cancel get creeps tumor and build spines rally mass lings, cant say timing or drone count but it looked so cool ull need to really play a bit with it to gigure it out tho cuz it failed since creator saw the queen moving lol, but its a really cool idea at least, and i guess he wins in practice with it.

Oh shit boy I didn't think of doing double nydus. That has potential... Thank you for that, I am totally going to mess around with double nydus starting tomorrow :D. Any other ideas is of course welcome as I want to expand everything.

Ah thank you, I will try that for sure then on certain maps. Were the mass lings slow lings? Did he do this off of 2 base i imagine?

Definitely baneling drops, that stuff is scary as hell.
Another kinda cool move you could do (ive died to it a couple times and it feels like shit as protoss) is to go muta into ultras; if protoss doesn't scout it and overmakes stalkers it can be a painful experience. Of course if he does scout it you just die so at your level it's probably really risky, but it can be useful in a box series i guess.

if i recall he timed speed to finish right as the lings would arrive, but its good to note they come like only once the spines started. off 2 base vs ffe of course, when he failed he took a 3rd and died in a macro game, so i guess if u do dmg u can transition ok. trycky part is not getting scouted i guess, but he was sloppy with not even holding tower control

14/14 into lair into overlord poop outside their base, 3 spines at their front door to distract, nydus in the mean time. You get lair before speed in most cases so it's tought for it not to be scouted. But protoss are normally like wtf.

I've been playing a muta style, only making roaches if i scout no 3rd/4th gas, been using that build for about 2 months now...
IDK, I like it, I haven't found a game where I felt I couldn't win.
I mean, if they macro game, you go muta and dictate, if they 2base robo allin, you can win a decent amount of the time with muta/ling/spine, and if they 4gas blink allin, you are sort of forced to base race, which is a good option too.
I saw you post in the discussion about this type of style a few weeks ago, but the muta/double upgraded ling I think can do pretty well with good scouting.

I don't really post about my strategies on the forums but double nyd on Condemned Ridge is one of the most entertaining ways to play ZvP or ZvZ (I'd say it's more inclined towards zvz since mass roach is acceptable). It has a huge main and a lot of space around the third, giving you plenty of spots that may not be covered by vision. Then just spill out roaches and infestors and all the workers die to fungals and the tech die to roaches.

Definitely want some 2base Hydra Busts, with a timely Muta switch to counter the inevitable colossus switch, take advantage of the protoss being defensive to take some more bases and tech to hive /upgrades. After that, a hit and run game with bane drops / doom drops / nydus hydra / infestor squad/ burrow roach, all the while using tons of spines, ultras, infestors to defend.
but mostly i want to see hydras and ultras in ZvP. and nyduses/drops ofc
