I played a 20 minute game yesterday and actually won. I decided to review it. I knew I had some problems but I found a TON. Ill document it here to both help me in analysis and for fun.
First few minutes were fairly good until I missed an overlord causing my roaches to come out in two segments. My first push I was rewarded with two horrible conclusions. Roaches cannot shoot up cliffs and he had a LOT of cannons.

Tought spot now, I cant break though with my go to unit without a larger group. Plan B, something I saw at MLG. Mutalisks! Pretty pro right? hahaha
Just as my spire finished my poor overlord saw something horrible.

Good news came when I pushed back his flyers. I had enought units to make a push, time to turn the tide of battle! NOPE NOPE NOPE

I had a good enough econ to keep up the mutas and hold the low ground with my roaches. For every muta I lost in his base I was able to supply two more at my rally point just offshore. And SUCCESS

After this success I decided to do some work via ai. Found this Build. I decided to work on transition, creep spread, and wtf are Banelings.
Bouncing back between creep, learning banelings, and keeping my damn camera off the base and on the action was too much to learn. I will needs to focus on one at a time now on. Camera on action will be first I think. Dy9 had a good Tuesday about that specifically I believe.
Lastly I noticed this with the replay tool. I am thinking this will improve with time but it seems very low. For the time I will not worry about it.

I have to ask since the minimap is cut out in all the pictures: Is it just the one base Protoss is turtling like mad on?

With 9 apm, I imagine he'd have to be. :S
BTW, OP, the last pic is of the Protoss (your opponent's) APM, that is a Protoss badge in front, but from the empty space that his bar couldn't fill I imagine your APM is much higher than his.

I'm not sure if it's possible to 2 base with 9 apm... lol :p

How in the world do you play a game of Starcraft and only make 180 actions... over 20 min. I can only imagine that he was afk for a while or something.

To be fair 9 Blizzard apm is probably about 30 actual apm.

I am on a quest to find out if I can manage it. So far my minimum has been 45~ and it's a bit of a stretch for me to play that slowly  if I just 1 base and don't even try and win I'm sure I could hit 9 though lol

I watched my brother play on his laptop. He was playing Novice Grounds on Slow Desert Oasis.
Even that slow, his apm was like: 7 maybe and its not like he's 6 or 8 years old, he's like 20 and just very slow.
Still accomplished a lot :3 Glad to see you are too warningfromspace

My brother was exactly the same when I got him into SC lol, so fucking unbelievably slow! He's actually improved loads since then, I just sit behind his back and scream SCV SUPPLY DEPOT MULE at him whenever he ladders and it seems to work!

Heh my apm is also ridiculously low. I attribute that to SC2 being my first RST and I've pretty much only been a casual gamer the last 3 years of my life (seriously, before then the only games I played were solitaire and The Neverhood - okay, slight exaggeration but you know what I mean) and so it really takes a lot for me to break 60 New Blizz APM >_< even late games when I have like 6 bases (yes, I'm silver) and a huge army and a million queens trying to inject and spread creep, yeah, but still, 9 APM is pretty, low. Like, what? How is it possible?

@mahi29: It was early or so in the game. He had quite a few units, enough to kill a lot of mine. I might rewatch it and only watch his/her POV

@A_Bandersnatch: I found a cool trick to inject with all your bases with backspace and queens on one hotkey. Needs more work though, once every 4 times all my queens would go to the main base for some reason.
