So it's been a while since I made a new blog. I think a week ago I made it to Masters so I thought I'd share my experiences in the league with some picture commentary (is that the correct way to word it?)
I've been having a bit of trouble with Protoss. So after watching Stephano play on his stream, I thought I'd copy his style because he seems to completely dominate every Protoss player I see on his stream.
Anyways here goes:

Shattered Temple, love the map, let's own this Protoss! I usually have a huge success rate on this map.

I start by opening with a 15 pool. Thought I'd try to play like Stephano after watching him play on stream (go Stephano!).

Immediately I throw down a spore and wait for his dts to strike ^_^ (that blue blob in the minimap is a pylon btw)

Killed all the dts except one. Where did he go?

Find the DT and kill him! (lings are faster than the overseer.. sigh...)

So here we are, mid game and I see him moving out (it was a feint) so I panic and make roaches

I eventually find out where he hid the dark shrine, I fail to kill it, along with his upgrade which finishes. (Why am I such a failure)

Not only does he have more probes, but he completely destroys my army which I re max in 5 seconds.

Thoughts after the game? Well, I was infuriated because I lost, but what angered me even more was the fact that he proceeded to provoke me by calling me "ez" in the chat. I guess my mistake was not making corrupters. I don't think I really needed broods because all his army composed of were colossus, which were the main dmg dealers. I'm in a bit of a rush since I have to study for my AP U.S History test 2morrow, so please excuse my poorly created sentences  .
P.S: Feel free to criticize. I'm a strong believer of constructive criticism so any recommendations to improve my future blogs would be absolutely wonderful. I was actually inspired to do this because I read Bitbybit's cheese chronicles in bw and they were hilarious.

But then your not mining, not having money, not building more units, its literally the worst thing you could ever do. If you look at the screenshot there is no toss army near that base.

After you scouted his DT tech I thought you'd just go kill him but it seems like you stayed passive and let him take 2 bases while you were on 3.
You missed a big opportunity there and you could've ended the game with a simple roachpush!

In Brood War, most people would start by typing "gg" during the countdown.
Thus, when I first started SC2, I would type "gg" at the start of games which led to people accusing me of being BM... so I stopped saying anything altogether. xd

Love the way you made this with pictures to show off all the key stuff going on. Lame that he trash talked but it seems like you have a good mind about it not bothering you, I personally felt like maybe you should have been a bit greedier on the macro and used more of those little overseer thingies that to scout and make sure his push was a fake. But your better than me so I could be totally wrong, good read nonetheless.

Honestly with an army of that size 20+ minutes into the game on 4 bases from the toss, you could've just made a crap ton of corrupters and vaoprized those colossus.
It looks like you were relying on broodlords for the win but listen our Zerg units tend to suck so its better to have the perfect composition to along with brolords rather than sprinkling them into your mid game army for the late game battle. I mean looking at the amount of money you had I'm pretty sure that you could've done lotsa of hit and runs to buy time for you to mass a huge broodlord army (12+) along with a bunch of infestors. That is the crushing army composition you want to end the game. In fact his high templars seemed to be there to feedback infestors if they were there.
Generally I don't see toss players with a ton of BOTH colossus AND stalker/sentry its usually either one or the other just because of the food limit. Thats why if you have a ton of broodlords you can practically roll over his stalkers and make fun of the colossus right after. Plus if u had infestors u'd be able to keep him from running away.
Mid-game armies in late-game are so bad that you should just sac 'em the best way you can =(.
Constructive criticism from a fellow MASTER player, man I love being able to put out relevant advice hehehehe.
EDIT: also I can't tell from just the pictures but it looked like u had a shitty arc in the engagement =P.

first i would like to compliment your level of preception for dt harass, nicely done. But one thing you should have done (and i do this often) is always threaten a backstab while building a couple spines so that when he does pursue to engage, you will sandwich him between the spines and the lings. another thing is that i never use hydralisks, because hydralisks aside from the fact that they are slow units, they are not as cost effective as roaches. roaches with double evo is more than enough to take on pure sentry armies. So if u see a robo bay, just switch to roach muta ling and just go straight to making muta ling. This would keep the colossus count low until he starts making archons and you can even harass with your mutas or make bane drops while teching to broodlords. your engagement was a fail because you didnt know when to back off. you couldve also used your spines and rooted them closer to his base pinning him down while getting more broodlords and making it easier for you to engage him in a full on battle behind the wall of spines.

oh and gg in korean is actually gl hf for them, in bw times we always said gg yo since gg yo is actually a respectful way for them to say it.

hahaha typical masters zvp, welcome to hell! it doesn't change even when you get to GM, except they'll have a bigger army earlier t.t

If you go the BL path, your army should be roach/infestor/BL. You should fight in a defensive position, ideally with spines nearby, for it is almost inevitable that the protoss attacks. You'll need more probes (at least 80) and you should expand safely.
For example, see Leenock vs MC, Blizzard Cup, set3 (i think?) on Daybreak.
