I've had some TERRIBLE luck with hard drives lately.

I recently bought a new 2TB hard drive that was dead out of the box. I spent about a week trying to get some files back from it that I'd put on it, gave up, and got it exchanged for a new one. That one's been working fine.

Now, a month later, one of my external HDs, a 500GB WD MyBook, is dying. This one also happens to have ALL of my music on it. I was planning to move all my music to my new HD as a backup tomorrow too. -_-. The lights on it are constantly on, and I'm not hearing any spinning from the inside. Now Windows isn't even recognizing the drive.

I have ~21,000 songs on that thing...more than 200GBs worth of music...

I am flipping out trying to figure out ways to get this thing working again atm.
