Even if the copy popped into existence during the loading screen, if nothing else the different spawn location would cause the experiences to be different. I'm not sure this would have a substantive impact, but there would be a "randomness" element introduced. Also, given that some maps can have assymetric spawns, that changes things. For example, if you spawn clockwise from your opponent on tal'darim altar, it's much easier to siege up and shoot into his natural mineral line for you than it is for him, etc.

Top tier players would be incredibly boring, because even if they tried to mind game each other, they'd just go in circles and never get anywhere, knowing how they thought.

Anyway. Assuming everything was exactly the same (e.g a perfect replica, in a perfectly similar room, on a perfectly mirrored map, under perfectly mirrored conditions, and absolutely no difference from each other in any way.) Then the actions would be perfectly mirrored, and it would end in a perfectly equal draw. probably with the last 2 units killing eachother at the same time.

Zealot vs Zealot, one will always survive . It has to do with which one attacks first, which is build into the game so it would never truely be perfectly mirrored ![]() For the sake of this thread i'll say it's possible and my ZvZ game would be epic ^^ roach ling early game into mass roach infestor and then on to the hive tech. Who ever has the better possitioning wins ![]()
