I note that in the original post you indicated that you want to go to Eastern Europe. Check out www.footprintsrecruiting.com as they have a program for Georgia in Eastern Europe. They also have programs to Korea. I did it there for 5 years and had an absolute ball. Even as a certified teacher Korea was a fantastic choice because it was a holiday compared to life in an international school. Don't get me wrong, I worked hard but it's different. As a teacher you'll know what I mean when you get wherever you are going. Footprints was great for me.

I know in the UK at least, and much of Western Europe as well it is becoming much more difficult for non-EU citizens to gain work visas as we are currently capping the number of skilled migrants that are allowed to enter the UK each year. For this reason it may be beneficial for you to accept a job at a company which will sponsor you for a visa, even if it would not be your first choice, because it will make it so much easier to find a job once you already have a work visa. This may not be true, but an American friend of mine and I were discussing this and he said that he could see it as being one way people could find better jobs as companies are much more willing to employ those who already have a visa.

Just a thought but since for some reason you want to go to [i]Eastern[/] Europe you could probably talk to the NewRoSoft guys (Ranged) and see if they can hook you up with accomodation while you hunt for a job. They could also offer some insight as to the reality of the east... lol
