I don't understand why everyone gets so hung up on being "forced" to kill the bosses. Yeah the game is about playing the way you want. But I imagine 95% of people are like me and just do whatever looks easiest/funnest to achieve the goal, including killing people. It's supposed to add a sense of epicness to the throwdowns with the main characters and get your adrenaline going. Why is that bad?

I think many people weren't prepared to face a boss, with them going full non-lethal classes or something

I had this problem with the first boss, I had a lot of difficulty because I was not prepared. I actually had to turn the difficulty level down a notch for that fight.

Easily one of the best single player games I've played. if not the best.

And screw the sewers, i stacked up some barrels and just hopped the fence beside the police station.

My problem with the boss fights is that for the rest of the game, your choices are varied and virtually everything can be done in more than one way, but when it gets to the Boss fights, the designers force you to play the game as if it were just any other shooter.

It's still a small hitch but overall to me the boss fights stood out as something that just didn't feel right in the game.
