Hey guys, DJ Wilma here, was asked by one of the mods to just make one post and just update it so that is what I shall do! PS DJWilma Stream is now posted on the TL Live user streams, so check that out when ever :D
So currently I'm a top 25 Diamond Protoss. And I'll just use this blog to talk about things happening with me in Starcraft, whether it will be me broadcasting a tournament, DJing a Starcraft II event, releasing a SC Remix song, or just ranting about ladder. So for now I'll keep it to only displaying the last 7 updates, and ill keep track of anything major!
21/08/2011 - Roaches and Late game zergs
+ Show Spoiler +So, since my return to the game of SC2 I am finding it harder and harder to deal with zerg play as a protoss. In fact from what I hear I'm ass backwards. Everyone says in late game P>Z but I seemingly do the opposite. I dominate the early game, mid game I can "survive" cuz I can never kill the mass roach army, never really know what to do against them. and late game I just get out macro'd. Any suggestions guys. Remeber as being a diamond player, I have a limit pool of skill, so dont say things like, just play like MC. Not gunna happen.
Funny thing about my return, my PvP is amazing now, I just do an ol' school Naniwa, 4G and win. Its fucking amazing.
22/08/2011 - Demotion
+ Show Spoiler +After having about a 10 game lose streak, I finally got demoted back down to platnium. I guess it was deserved since I really wasn't playing like a Diamond leaguer, especially in the late game. So hopefully this some how makes me a better player over all. I wasn't very happy about it, but you can check it out in the VODs on my stream, I'll make it a highlight....

+ Show Spoiler +I unfortunately do not have the time to devote to this game like I used to. I love it, but its losing all fun I used to have. Starting school again in a week really puts it into perspective of how I really can't play like I used to. I hate to say it, but I think its about time I gave up playing alot. Laddering everyday where I just LOSE every game is not worth it to me anymore. I get more frustrated playing this game then anything else.
Saying that, I'll still play the odd ladder game, or some 2v2, but my days of playing SC2 I am pretty sure are over. I will still watch the game alot, and I will also make SC2 music, but playing the actually game isn't fun anymore....
29/08/2011 - Immortals are good
+ Show Spoiler +Holyshit guys, Immortals are baller, I am switching all PvP play and PvZ to use a heavy influence of Immortals, and surprisingly most playing are used to dealing with it. I mean I took out a mother fucking death ball with a sentry stalker immortal mix, pretty baller eh?

Oh man, I know exactly what you mean... I'm having a super hard time with PvZ too. They always go mass roach infestor, and if I go Stalker - Immortal or Gateway with Void Rays then my void rays just get hit by fungal or my Immortals get neural'd...
I usually spend as much time as possible not letting them get a 3rd base up... but they always do eventually, and it never seems to quite stop the roach flow.... Doesn't help that Spine Crawlers are super awesome either.

Im finding I have to either do some crazy DTS or early blink stalker to have a fighting chance. Still havnt tried zealot archon tho, anyone know if its good against zerg?

The counter to any heavy-infestor play is, obviously, fast ht. The easiest way (IMO) of getting there is opening with a really early twilight council and pressuring using blink stalker, then getting charge + ht tech... save some ht for the infestors, morph some into archons. Zealot/Archon is really strong up until broodlords, at which point you want to switch back to stalkers + storm or pump out a good void ray count.
