Greetings, everyone. As a handful of you know, I work for a software company in California. Among other things, my job is to teach classes on our software. Our primary customer is the good ol' United States government, so I do a lot of travelling to military bases.
Well, I've been tasked to teach a class in Daegu, Korea. I'll be spending one week there for work in late September. Then I'm taking two weeks of vacation and seeing as much of the country as possible. I'm pretty excited.
The purpose of this post is twofold:
1) A couple years ago, I wrote a blog about my trip to Japan that was pretty well-received. I plan to write a blog about this trip, too.
2) I cannot find Camp Henry, the military base at which I'm supposed to be working.
Maybe the Internet has spoiled me, but I'm used to being able to find things like addresses, directions, and maps. I was shocked that Google, Bing, and MapQuest were unable to provide me with the location of Camp Henry, Daegu, Korea. Military websites were no help, either.
After some detective work, I was able to ascertain that a neighboring base, Camp Walker, is in the Nam-gu district. Another website mentioned that Camp Walker is a half mile southwest of Camp Henry. I then compared a not-to-scale base map of Camp Walker to the Google satellite image and have located what I believe are both bases. I was hoping someone with familiarity of the area could tell me whether or not my suspicions are correct.

Closer to the training date, I'll be able to contact the on-site personnel about their location, but with the amazing resource of Team Liquid at my disposal, I figured this was the faster method.

Camp Henry consists of 51 acres, and is dominated by administrative buildings. Other uses include community facilities, troop housing, and outdoor recreation areas.
