that's my perspective too and it sucks. amulet back and collossi replaced hots would actually make me pretty happy once timings are figured out and all that.

it sucks that we can't ignore collossi for the most part but immortal HT is fun against Zerg

except that brood lords shit all over immortal ht since you don't have colos constantly cleaning up all the broodlings everywhere

you can say blink stalkers are the answer but when they morph ~8 brood lords and you try to blink under them in less then 2 seconds there will be like 30 broodlings killing your entire army faster than you can kill 2 brood lords

Protoss get nerfed every patch now we are the strongest race :D

I don't know what the thought process behind that one was... the reaver introduced so much excitement into the game... (can he micro his reaver well enough to win? Will that scarab kill 20 scvs or 2? etc)

In all fairness, the reaver was pretty cool, but it wasn't all good. The scarabs could bug out and massively screw you out of a game.

I'm fine with the scarabs but the one glitch I hate hate hate hate hate is when you right click a target with the reaver and the reaver decides it's a melee unit and crawls toward the thing you clicked on. (I think this is one of the reasons pros select with shuttle to target, right?)

I just think battles were much more enjoyable for both sides in BW. When a Protoss player was using reavers then the micro got really, really crazy for both the Protoss and the Zerg and it was just really fun like that. There would be the whole shuttle/sair vs. muta/scourge micro in the air and there would be positioning battles on the ground where if you dropped the reaver too up front then it would get sniped, but if I didn't spread my hydras right then one scarab would kill like 8 hydras or something omg.

The creep mechanic in SC2 is a joke. It isn't a buff in any way as it makes the hydra essentially unusable off creep. Roaches are incredibly boring compared to hydras and just as how microing colossi is so mindless for the Protoss, microing against it is as equally mindless. Same thing with templars. Templars have lost a lot of meaning because storm doesn't have the same "ZAP UR DEAD" effect against roaches, which replaced hydras as the 1.5 tech muscle unit. It doesn't really matter anyway, since no one uses templars in the first place.

Not necessarily, templars are still very favorable lategame with 3+ bases. They shred terran bio, and can potentially turn into very very nasty archons.

Same can be applied with Zerg. Storms eat zerglings, hydras and mutas. Not to mention archons are quite the unit to fight against mutas. Their the Thor's of Protoss in PvT.
