RESTART BUTTON , NOT RESET
I don't think there really is a reset button in life. I mean, you make decisions, you're life is affected by the responsibilities you have and just the general environment. And sometimes, whether its because you slacked off or just because one point in your life, all the bad shit seemed to happen at once, you wake in the mornings and you just can't take a breath cause you look at all the stuff that is happening or needs to get done and its just so damn overwhelming.

LIFE IS COMPLEX, BUT IF YOU BECOME COMPLEX YOU'RE FUKED...
It's not just a matter of making your life simpler, I mean life is about interaction and in the course of accomplishing anything, shit happens. Or else, life is good and then circumstances beyond your control just happen and yes, life isn't fair, but it's your life that you need to live. And what would be the point to have a 'reset' button for life, you're still gonna have crap happen to you in your life. But sometimes you want that, you just want time to stop for just a goddamn day so you can just have 1 good nights rest without the anxiety of deadlines, missed work or responsibilities that no one should have to deal with. Just one freaking day, to stop time and try to make sense of everything and just get back on your feet.

But just like an RTS game, its real time and if you don't get that space to think or reset, it just doesn't exist.

But I want to say, you can always press the restart button.

PURGE THE MEMORY
When your comp freezes cause the memory is all filled up with all the past processes and tasks that got you to that point, you press the restart button and while the new processes need to be dealt with, all the crap in your ram is just wiped clean and you can simply get on with it.

Life is about getting on with it, but when you there are too many things going on and everything is just getting a bit of your attention and nothing is really followed through or done to completion, and the only way things get out of the way is when more pressing things push em down or the time passes and the damage is done or the opportunity is loss.

And this is life, but I want to say, just press the restart button.

For the moment, forget about the unfairness, the bitterness, the regret that you carry with you in face of all the crap you need to do; just wake up take a deep breath and just think that things are a zero, not negative.

ONE BREATH, ONE WALK, ONE PAPER
Take a walk, get a sheet of paper and a pen, and write down just 1 thing, not 2 not 3, just 1 thing you must focus on today with. You want to write down more different tasks, but just like opening up multiple applications on your desktop of a thousand icons, its not helping. You feel you want to do more, but to do more is to focus and do one thing until its completed. One by one.

Now break that one task into all the tiny steps you need to do, put a time deadline beside it, and just do it. Do that one thing, and get it done. Then tomorrow, do the next one, and so on. Yes, this may not be practical to continue to do, as too many things you could 'save' are slipping through, but by getting significant progress on a couple of major tasks, well that could give you the real space you need to sort everything else out.

IT'S JUST A STEP, BUT ONE REAL STEP
At the heart of this, my point isn't uncomplicated your life or control it, but rather, as a first step, simply get your performance up to speed again by pressing that restart button, because just the weight of all your tasks can take the strength away from your finger tips to do the simplest things cause you think, whats the point to do this when there are a hundred other things to do which are all important. Maybe they are, maybe there is, but you need to make a decision to pick one of them and to finish it as you won't even have the capability to do so if you're just mentally overwhelmed all the time.

Of course what I'm saying isn't anything ground breaking or will change you life, you need to get to a point to figure it out yourself, I just want to remind you, that if you were to chose to just do one thing and let go for just that day all the mental burden of everything else on your plate, you may see some light on the other side.

If you want to give yourself real space to figure out and work out the rest, then just press that restart button and focus on just one thing at a time without all pressure that really is just bogging you down.

The only thing in life you can really do anything about, is your own perception.
press your restart button, and get down to it.

gogo!

Actually i think just choosing one thing that randomly comes to mind is not that good of an idea Oo it gets one thing done, sure, but the mental confusion stays.

what helps me is to just write up everything i can think of into a list, (i use my smartphone for this because the following is easier then sort all by roughly what needs to be done first and then just pick stuff of that list, doing the things that are on top rather sooner than later. And whenever you think of something you do not have on the list, just insert it at about the proper position.

I think that's a way better approach for ordering all that stuff if it is just too much to do only in your head. However i can see two downsides with this approach: depending on how long the list is, even roughly sorting it will take more time than just picking a single one. And also, the tasks to put on there need to be about equal in size, or it just doesn't work.

I'm not a business guy, so i don't know about this, but i could think of this system not working for too large tasks? i usually don't deal with big tasks on this as i just use it to order my personal stuff, that i need to do in my free time besides university and the likes, through this, if it gets too much. I'd assume, you probably have to order this big stuff? like for me as if i was going to five universities or something to compare this to? but i've never been in such a situation, so i don't know if this list thing would work in that case. Have you tried this before?

I might get your post wrong but you mean that when we do something wrong in our life, our just get tired of living in what we self have created, we should just restart?

Dont get me wrong, I´ve done that my self. But by doing that I´ve relized that I will just keep making the same mistakes over and over again. I say to hell with simplicity and bring on the complexity.

The more you know about your self and your surroundings the more free you become. By being able to understand WHY you did the mistake, not just THAT u did the mistake, u can keep on evolving as a human being.

I´m gonna be honest and say that I just read the post fast because I´m at work, so if im completley missing the picture, let me know.

Peace!
