What I like:
Fast upbeat music, multiple layers are good. Other than that it's hard to classify what I like but I will give some examples.
dubmood stuff (this is just a random example i quickly found in youtube, nothing special about it):
fast "getcha pumped" remix of pop/hip hop songs
Random harder to classify stuff:
Fast classical remixes
(I don't have an example sadly)
I also like some infected mushroom.
I like a lot of songs by Zircon. I like Zircon a hell of a lot actually.
What I don't like: most trance and most hardcore type music, I don't like stuff that's overly repetitive, I don't like stuff that's heavily bassy (for example most dubstep)

You could link me to the song, or just tell me the song name, or group name if it's a group or person that is consistently good.
I didn't like the youtube'd song that much. It was alright, but stuff became... mixed.. if u know what I mean. Kinda hard to explain lol. I tend to like distinct lines in the music.
The 2nd song is awesome lol. Not something I'd listen to in the background (way too distracting) but fun to listen to as a sole source of entertainment.
Actually I guess it kind of is in the background right now and it works but still it's highly distracting. I liked it though.

This is probably my favorite. It has a long intro but it builds up so well.
I'd highly recommend some stuff with Kameleon & Labyrinth (goa-psytrance) and it seems you like some Infected Mushroom but IE are more "light" when it comes to goa-psy. Sadly I can't really find some of their good shit because I don't know their track names; I've just recorded their stuff using Screamer Radio.
I'm also looking forward as to what other people post! Ah that took me a while to post this up, let me know what you think of each one if you listen to them.
Don't feel bad about skipping the mix-in (drum intros), thay are for DJ's to help transitioning between tracks.
I'm not at home right now, I will give you some more suggestions of solid artist when I get home in a few days and can look through my library.I definitely have some stuff that you'll like if you enjoy Jenkees and Zircon.

Heh, Zircon mastered my first album. He's a cool guy. If you like the layered, bombastic stuff that he does, I'm sure you'd enjoy The Crystal Method. He draws most of his influence from them.
Crystal Method used to be my favorite, but I've migrated away to more club stuff like Simian Mobile Disco and Daft Punk. Breakbeat is a usually a gateway drug to more interesting sub-genres of electronic.

I know, you said "most" trance, but I thought I'd give you some tracks just to see if you'd like them. God is God is such an amazing "pump" song to listen to, but what did you think of Shpongle? I don't really know where to put him in a category but it's definitely not trance.

Im listening to it now. I think it's quite good, I do like it.
The only problem, and I should have mentioned this beforehand, is that I rarely "just" listen to music. It's almost always in the background while I do something else. And this music is... very distracting, lol. It's actually my problem with a lot of infected mushroom, too.

yeah I won't even pretend to know the names of the various genres or whats what. as far as im concerned music is music and if it comes from a computer it's techno, lol. I am tryng to learn though cuz it makes it easier to describe what I like.
