So I have been almost creating a girl blog for awhile but Chills voice kept ringing in my head telling me not to. Here is something he has said before.
I'm sensing some disturbing trends on TL:
i) Regarding Starcraft projects: 1. Post what you'd like to do. 2. Get praise. 3. Do nothing.
ii) Regarding Starcraft training: 1. Post what you'd like to do. 2. Get motivation. 3. Do nothing.
iii) Regarding girls: 1. Post what you'd like to do. 2. Get motivation. 3. Do nothing.
Please stop opening threads to get the feeling of accomplishment while bypassing the actual work. Getting mentally jerked off by some dudes on a forum is nice, but if you actually put in some effort you might get that girl / starcraft accomplishment / whatever.
Those bolded words, though said countless times by many people really made me think. Because of this I never created a post asking for help or saying what I was going to do but now TL I have done it! I took the plunge, I manned up and asked the girl out.
We're going out on Sunday go-karting. We also created a bet about who is faster. If she wins I have to pay for her drinks when we go out Wednesday. If I win then she has to go go-karting again with me with the same bet in place. Basically it's a win win.
I just wanted to create this post to say Thank you. Thank you Chill for being that little voice in my head stopping me from creating girl blogs and not doing anything. Also thank you TL, though you didn't know it at the time, you guys helped me out a lot by giving me the confidence to just go out there and try.
So again. Thanks. Now I leave you with a random video about Elevators.
Idk I kinda like those blogs where a dude who just bought sc2 talks about how hes gonna start training to be a progamer, same for those hopeless girl blogs.

Nice arrangement with the win-win bet. But what are you gonna do? Let her win or destroy her on the track? Tricky question I think because it could be kinda loss-loss. Please keep us updated.

When i went karting with my girlfriend and a few friends she completely destroyed me and made fun of me afterwards for braking to late and chickening out... she said she could have been so much faster if it wasn´t for me delaying her because she had to round me :D

I am blogging that I actually DID do something and other peoples girl blogs helped me not waste my time asking for help to do nothing in the end.
