When you get done with a game and are searching for another game what do you do? I know what I as well as most people do and thats look at the ladder now its just kind of pointless

Thats not a bad Idea, when the patch first came out I went to the Blizzard forums for the first time ever and was advocating for our win/loss ratio back. Thats where I found out about how good the WC3 stats were. Hopefully they hear our cries for help. What I dont get is WHY they took it away. Where was everyone saying omg I hate how i can see my losses? Seems like Blizzard just made this decision for no reason

I don't understand how someone could have come up with this brilliant idea in a brainstorming session and not been thrown out a window. Because that person, and the people at Blizzard, know more about human psychology than you do, perhaps? Seeing losses pile up, particularly in the early days of a player's play, is very discouraging. Unless they have a competitive mindset (and most people do not), it is massively unhelpful to them. It keeps them from wanting to play the game more.
