You see, their last location was right off the MBTA train. Maybe a 1/2 mile walk and you were there and you could grab some Tacos Lupitas (OMGFG! unbelievable burritos!) and be all set. But what this does is it puts MA back off the map for LAN centers. There used to be TONS of them around. Now mind you, there are plenty of console gaming centers around, but none that could sport enough PCs to support a reasonable tournament (10PC min). But you know what there are plenty of? College campuses with computer labs and insane internet connections. You see where I'm going with this?
Now, I have tried to make contact with a lot of the CSL teams, and I think many of the leaders I spoke with never passed the word along, which is a shame, because right now they are just the people I need to help the league and e-sports out for the greater Boston and Massachusetts in general. I need people to help me get an event in Boston on a college campus. I've already started to approach talks with Tufts University to see if something can be set up, but not all plans work. I need a back-up plan. I need people who are at universities that can get information for me, or try and get contacts for me so I can set something up. Are you one of the people complaining about none of the league events are close enough to Boston? You're just the guy to help out, so what's stopping you?
