I spawned in the top left corner, him in the bottom left. I planned at the start to go for the 5z8s rush, because i didn't want to macro too much at the time. He tried to korean 4gate me. I defended easily, as i had 5 zealots and three stalkers out by the time he hit. I tried to pressure him, but he already had sentries (he must have forgot to take workers off gas or something) to FF the ramp, so i retreated and expanded, making a soft contain at the watchtower outside his base. I got onto 2 bases, 6 or 7 warp gates, and started pumping a ton of blink stalkers. Ofc he was going for the typical collosi, so i figured i could blink under the collosi, snipe and then kill everything else. When i engaged, the first part happened, i blinked under the collosi, and sniped them. After that however, his large about of chargelots ripped apart my stalkers. When he killed my army plus my reinforcements, i gg'd and tapped out. The game lasted about 20 mins, but it did boost my confidence in my ability to macro.
Second game, PvT on the same map. I spawn top left again, he spawns bottom right. I open up with a 3gate DT rush into expand and contain him pretty well. I am not sure what kind of build he was going for, although he did scout (just missing my TC) with a hellion. He had his expansion just completed and he was floating the CC over to his natural when my DTs got there. I did some pretty decent eco damage, but he cleaned up the attack. I decided to expand too, because i had delayed his expo enough to not fall behind with mine. After he walled off his main ramp with a barracks and his nat CC, i made a warp prism to start warping in units at the back of his base. That was also effective, sniping about 10 SCVs and a turret. I continued harrassing with DTs while transitioning into a 2-base Chargelot high templar build. I got my third up around 17 mins, and I just kept pumping a ton of zealot templar. I think the opponent's macro may have s because when i arrived at his base with 25 zealots and 8 high templar, he had a handful of marines, a couple of marauders, a raven, and his third OC, about to fly to his third expansion. Needless to say i roflpwned him, and he left with no gg.
I am starting to get confident with my macro game, and i hope in the future i can move almost completely away from the cheese/rush/timing builds i use currently.
